Buy a ticket for 19 games and pay 6 months in advance when you have no idea when the games will be but might give a cup final ticket to a member instead of you. Not right that.

I’d be burning down the box office if I was in P4 and hadn’t got one like.

Baffling how they gave a full day today for about 400 people to buy a ticket.

Can see it being a nightmare for bigger families getting tickets together on Wednesday.

If you take that away there are another 30 odd thousand memberships for sale. Someone can’t buy their mate a ticket any more but they can buy a membership. Doesn’t help any current member have more of a chance of getting one.

They don’t get preferential treatment for buying additional match tickets. They’re also members that can buy the same time as other members. Could remove the membership from the season ticket but people that use it could just pay £30 quid or however much it is and doesn’t change anything.

It’s a fair point but if some people hadn’t we might not have the problem of a cup final to worry about.

Until a year ago the thousands of people that wanted one could have had one. They get a seat for every home game and access to away tickets and cup finals. The club did need season ticket holders until very recently. Telling someone who’s been going for decades that someone who bought a membership a year ago has the same chance of a cup final ticket seems more wrong as an alternative.

Something needs to be done regarding away tickets/loyalty points but the idea that season ticket holders don’t deserve more than members is bonkers. All seems to come from buying extra home tickets but they’re just buying them as members.

If anyone had same query as me have to wait until lowest pot if want to sit together with people, including kids. And kids can’t buy adult ticket or an individual one themselves.

Fair enough. Didn’t realise.

What’s the point if period 2? Did Tranmere go down to less than 25 points?

I was absolutely shiting myself for 90 minutes and any noise I made was just an outburst when something happened. Probably the same for a lot of people.

Would love to know what other grounds people have been to for our atmosphere to be considered so shit we need to do something drastic. It’s at least as good as anywhere.

It solves the issue of people getting to go now and again but just encourages people with a lot of points to buy every game. Taking x amount out of the allocation means Southampton away might be 70 points rather than 50. Would be the middle band of points getting a bit shafted. Can’t see a solution myself.

Unfortunately I think it needs a whole new system. Would be terrible for me as have enough points but unless there is a way to know people have attended themselves I can’t think of a way to sort it out for people with less points to start getting them. I’d guess about half the away end are those that go every week, apart from Brentford and Leeds.
