Luton away is ideal though.

The pricing must have something to do with not being able to pick a seat through the ballot. When it’s the same price to sit in the East Stand or the back of Level 7 it doesn’t make much sense. You’d think now things are less rushed they could do the ballots earlier and give people time to pick their seat. They don’t seem to have thought through any of it though.

Was just flat all round last night, even before the game it was mentioned walking up.

I had two tickets on my phone today. First one worked straight away, did exactly the same for the second and it didn’t. I’ve seen some people not doing it correctly but the system also seems pretty average.

The rules about players betting on games is ridiculous, someone playing for Gateshead should be allowed to bet on the Champions League final, but betting on your own team is just brain dead. Brighton and Brentford being owned by people who make all their money through betting syndicates and Stoke being owned by people who run bet365 shows how much the FA/Premier League really care about gambling in the game though.

I wouldn’t be happy if someone told me to sit down at an away game but the not sitting in your own seat annoys me. Some people just don’t want to stand with 4/5 people in the space of 2/3 seats like happens. Must even more annoying for people with kids or their missus there.

Not surprised if it was subdued after 7 games in three weeks that most will have done all of. And it’s an abysmal place to go to.

Has anyone in England built a new ground and the atmosphere has improved? None that i’m aware of.

Queues are a joke and nothing has changed since the first game.

Aye, agree with you generally just feels a lack of consistency across ticketing. Also have the issue now of someone with loyalty points can’t wait for someone with none, like a child, and go in the ballot with them.
-
Hope they enjoy it after making no effort to go for the last 20 years.

Never officially been able to pass a season ticket on either though. That was happening even more and they’ve now made it possible for half the season while cracking down on away games.
-
If that’s the way to get more people in then fine, but you can’t have one rule for corporate/players/media and another for season ticket holders. I’m fairly sure all the people being described as hoarders or touts were just getting their mates tickets. I understand that caused some people an issue but they’re being seen as bad guys when it wasn’t like that really.

If one person can give someone else their ticket then everyone should be able to.
-
And it’s easy to blame the trust because people know who they are and some of them seem bell ends.
-
Think it matters because as you say corporate, media and players can all pass tickets on to whoever they want but a normal season ticket holder can’t. She clearly goes all the time and should be able to but a lot of people in the same situation can’t go now because of the changes.

If they’re going to keep playing him in the same position i’d snap your hands off for 100million.

It was a great result but we were shite apart from the back four and keeper.

I know I might seem the weirdo here but i’m on the train back to Verona and i’m going again ? 90% of the pitches in the top standard of football across europe are the same size but you’ll still hear players talk about somewhere being a big pitch. No one says St James’ is a big pitch but Wembley or Old Trafford are despite being exactly the same. Players talk about angles being different, harder to judge length of long passes etc because of how close or far the stands are away from the pitch. The opposition can make it big as well, but every pitch is different despite being the same. And the San Siro is a Holy Shit ground when you walk into it even with no one it it, presume Dortmund will be the same. So why you wouldn’t go and train there or at least have a look when you have the opportunity doesn’t make sense to me. Different story for teams used to going to these type of places.
