The problem we will have is catching Man City / Arsenal in terms of squad depth over the next few years. The teams at the top will probably spend similar or more than us (each window) So very hard to catch up. Our signings will all have to hit the ground running every window. liverpool , Manure , maybe spurs will also spend and already (on paper) have decent squads if we had of signed the players Chelsea had of signed in the last few windows we would be expecting to win the league ! Santos , Enzo Fernandez, Mudryk , felix , Denis Zakaria to name a few ! Its a very difficult process to catch up to all of these teams as they all have the money to buy the top players. The one thing in our favour is we have a fantastic manager / Coaching set up who appear to get the very best out of players and improve (month by month) We shouldn’t be fooled though by thinking if we sign 2/3 players and spend £100/£110+ million we will be challenging for the league We May just need that to challenge the top 6 next season football never stands still and the top teams always look to improve. Ps - For what it’s worth , I just love seeing us play and competing again. I don’t expect to win the league or cup. I trust the club and love seeing us (give it a go) and strive for improvement. Thats all we can ask for.

Yeah good point about the four stands to be fair. As mentioned Full gallowgate would be ideal. If the ground is expanded over the next few years , the whole thing needs looking at properly

If they only do (one area) as a trial it should be Leazes (level 4) and at least 3,000 The Gallowgate Strawberry Corner stand up anyway and make the most noise. Putting it there would be pointless. I still think it the two best options would be Full gallowgate or 2,000 in each of the four stands

Which makes it even more strange why our (in game) atmosphere is so poor. That’s not true If they win the league they go up (all good) The play off thing (is for the division above) So if they go up and then win that league (Northern premier) , they have to play the winners of the (Southern premier) in a play off to get to the championship. However they are looking at potentially scrapping this play off and allowing both winners to go into the championship and two teams will then be relegated from the championship. (Currently one team) Talks are ongoing as the look to change the promotion/ relegation process. Atmosphere needs to improve 100% I think everyone agrees. it shouldn’t be that hard to do (although it may take a few seasons to increase the atmosphere) The singing section in the Leazes corner worked. No reason why we can’t have standing sections on all 4 sides of the ground maybe 2k on each side to start off with 8k in total (would be a good start) Would love to see the full gallowgate all singing / all standing in the future Look at the Celtic fans at the weekend (that’s noise)

Need like minded people , willing to make a noise and sing in multiple areas of the stadium (safe standing) to improve the atmosphere. let the one’s who want to sit on their hands and then leave 5 mins before the game ends ….watch from up a height (out the way) hopefully the response from the season ticket holders is positive and we get some noise back into St James park next season The players are doing their bit - We need to do the same

I think we are looking to do it the Brighton way but with a bigger budget. We can then look at slightly more expensive “bargains’ as well as looking at a few established players if required. We can also hold onto these players if they become superstars
