  1. Anderson He isn’t the answer, to slow Longstaff isn’t either Both need upgrading Burn has been outstanding - but we need an attacking pacy left back for home games
  2. Need like minded people , willing to make a noise and sing in multiple areas of the stadium (safe standing) to improve the atmosphere. let the one’s who want to sit on their hands and then leave 5 mins before the game ends ….watch from up a height (out the way) hopefully the response from the season ticket holders is positive and we get some noise back into St James park next season The players are doing their bit - We need to do the same
  3. I think I read somewhere that ……. All baldy fans have to bring a scarf and wave it over their heads at 29mph All gingers - Three foot flag with club badge and text saying Milk cup finalists All 6ft + fans have to wear Saudi strips and a beanie hat (no underwear) Kids - old fashioned rattles and an NUFC pin badge to wave in the air old people - (older than 62) have to paint their faces black n white and bring mints others - Need to be at the ground at 4.07 to play blaydon races with silver trumpets
  4. It’s a red card all day long Super unlucky to misjudge the bounce and head the ball against the surface He then totally panics - and the rest is history Red card all day long. His brother (Josh pope) was also sent off yesterday ! (goalkeeper). Strange world mildenhall town Fc
  5. I think we are looking to do it the Brighton way but with a bigger budget. We can then look at slightly more expensive “bargains’ as well as looking at a few established players if required. We can also hold onto these players if they become superstars
  6. I hear what you are saying I just think 62,000 is about right With Chelsea (new owners) Liverpool , Man united and Now spurs (looking at new owners/ changes at the top) Its not going to be easy to qualify for the champions league every year. It will be very very difficult to win the league over the next 10/15 years with most of the top 6 having new very wealthy owners (and enough money to compete for all the top players) They will also offer very good wages (which I don’t think we will until we see champions league football / huge sponsorships) Having a ground of 70/75/80,000 is not realistic and will look dreadful with 10/15,000 empty seats) We have fantastic owners and I can see us challenging (Arsenal , Man City , Man united , Chelsea , Liverpool and Spurs ) …..but I don’t see us filling a 70,000+ stadium every week if we are finishing 6th or 7th every season and the novelty of europa league football wears off. For me , I am just excited to see us (giving it a go) and acting like a proper football club again. I am excited to watch every game , watch every interview , talk to everyone about Newcastle and see us improve year on year. Building / developing a ground that goes beyond 62,000 isn’t required to compete. (It might look good though) ?
  7. I don’t think we will outgrow anything over 62,000 it wasn’t that long ago we couldn’t fill our current stadium for champions league games under Bobby I think we have a good strong core of 35 - 40k supporters and then lots of hangers on
  8. If you drive down to London / eg outskirts Where is the best place to go / park if you want to get on the underground to get to Wembley Or a very handy train station close enough to get a train / sprinter type into / close to Wembley don’t want to drive right into London but I was thinking of driving close enough (not to get caught in all the London traffic) but not to far away (if that makes sense) any help Would be appreciated At first glance I was thinking about Watford ? As a sprinter train option ?
  9. He mentions it , in his latest you tube video (st James park / strawberry place update)
  10. Merdhad Ghodoussi is/was an architect (according to Craig hope) So I wouldn’t worry about the expansion, he is all over it
  11. Fanzone in that area next season would be a disaster for home games You will hear the roar of the crowd at St James park before the big screen shows the (goal) ….time / 2 second delay Only a few seconds but it spoils it !! Best to use it for an extension of the gallowgate as soon as possible Great news though - ??
  12. Which surely means every premier league teams can break the same 100 rules on he future ?? opens up the floodgates ?? Win / Win ??
  13. Same team tonight - guess as why change a winning team let’s hope we can get a good lead and bring on Isak and maxi early in the second half
  14. It is a stretch Hence a lot of 0-0 draws , teams learning how to play against us. We need more options Its inevitable we get a few injuries in that area. I do agree however we shouldn’t just rush in and get anyone to plug a gap , but there has to be a few options in the (whole wide world) ?better than Anderson or longstaff to help us out
  15. Fake ITK on Twitter £14m A few journalists = £1m/ nominal would be interesting to find out
