If we don’t - go all out would that suggest this takeover isn’t (big money) and the plan is to invest but very low key / sensible ? letting the club sink into the championship means that they are sticking to a low key budget plan - eg 50 million per season and not going all out to stay in the premier league you would think - staying up and investing quite heavily would be key to the plan and a sign of intent to follow either way it’s going to be very interesting, I am “all for” any slither of hope ive always said I will back anyone that gives it a go , and shows intent to improve regardless of how much they spend under Ashley it was the opposite , it was all about him/ all about how much he could gain / all About promoting his brand / the football club was irrelevant

Also we could argue that these pathetic anti competitive rules will hinder us competing in the champions or Europa league ? how is it fair sponsorship has to be capped in the premier league but not in other European countries surely we are hindering all premier league teams ?? For me it’s like trying to cap wages and telling who we can and can’t sign surely it’s up to the each individual club to see how much sponsorship they can get in / how much cash they can generate from every avenue ?? its no one else’s business ??

I don’t see any issues here if we get sponsored by a PIF related company it’s goes to an independent panel and we can get fair market value (which we can argue should be amongst the top in the premier league) reasons - We are now the richest club in the world and nearly every company involved with PIF would love to be associated with a team with such potential , TEAM on the rise , future champions league , chance to have their business/company shown all over EUROPE/MENA regions Of its Saudi state sponsors - We have already proved separation , so no need to again ? Also we can employ the best lawyers going and will do.

Yes I get the same feeling , However I also hear sound bites from PIF hierarchy that we are a team that will no doubt compete at the top end at some point and in their words (serious competition) I think the structure is set up for a slow build but I have a feeling now and again (if the opportunity arises) they will not be able to resist a few trophy (wow) signings to prove a point.

Not mates, but spoken with him a lot through work over the last 4-5 years. He was fantastic whilst working with the England youngsters and doing very well at Brighton on a very very tight budget. As soon as the takeover went through I was hoping we would ask him and a few of us were saying he would be the perfect appointment. Dan and Eddie Howe get on really well too.

This bloke might be helping to advise / approach agents but I still believe between the scouts / management team / board / advisors We will be able to identify decent targets We can all spot / single out names to buy or loan without being a genius Trust the Process

Anyone who improves the team is the right choice - regardless of age / money We also have people at the club in higher places more knowledgeable than the average fan in regards to decision making. Even if every decision was left up to the manager, I would still like to think he would know what positions need filling and who to go for in January
