To take the Burnley job the first time I think but returned back and wiki states he turned several other offers down sitting his time there, he doesn’t seem like a quitter to me. Second time he left on mutual consent after relegation, that sounds like just falling on the sword to me.

And managing a club bottom of the lowest division on minus points must have been seriously worse than this but he stuck it out.

Isn’t this the first time he’s ever been in this role? How does he have a style already - so many things bring pulled out of thin air in here. None of us know what’s going on behind closed doors.

Mental isn’t it - we have a manager who only ever walked away from one club (Burnley) in 16 years of management apparently going to quit because he theoretically hasn’t been backed enough in this window to his liking.

It probably was concluded ages ago - we’re all buying into reported supplies stories and using them to judge the club on. This is the same press when they report we’re selling someone we say they know fuck all.

If we got an offer for Isak and we turned it down as we had no desire to see. He then got injured for a couple of months - people wouldn’t be saying “we’ve fucked ourselves there as we could have sold him”. It only makes a difference if they wanted to sell.
