Not starting Tonali?

I read Linekars biography many years back so memory hazy and this may be out of context but he stated that he spent so much time learning how to read the game so he knew how and when to be in the right place. He said to do it consistently is a skill.

He will eventually, we know eddies style - he’ll start coming on after 75 minutes in about half way through the season then that’ll move up to the 60th minute mark for next season.

Is he though? I’ve never watched him week on week but I did enough digging in their forum to find quite a few incidents both before we were linked and during of their fans saying he often gets caught and done like that. (Their not going to say it now though) Ive always thought - if both are 100% then on their day I’d rather have Botman.

Agreed, got great results and loads of credit in the bank but after we did great at first buying overseas with botman and isak we just stopped and bought British. I don’t know why or who is responsible for this but something in the system needs addressing as it seems to me a lot of prem clubs don’t wanna deal with us. I know I’m simplifying this but it seems obvious what we should do.

Point and case - calling a season where finish sixth a failure would have been unspeakable just a few years ago. A season where a better backup keeper would have seen us into Europe again. Unfortunate or unlucky is a word more appropriate for me than failure.
