I personally don’t hate him - just seen nothing on his best of clips to make me think he’s anything special. i see a load of goals either tap ins or deflections in situations where he has that much space and time he could stop and make a continuum.

I must be the only person who doesn’t want him because of all the clips I’ve seen I’m just not impressed. Blown away by Botmans footage but not impressed with him. Actually hope we don’t sign him in all honesty.

Exactly they’re planning for the future and sensible rather than blowing all our allowance in the first few windows. You don’t get to be worth hundreds of billions by being like a kid in a sweet shop when running your business. We’ve been told time and time again by howe he won’t be spending crazy money immediately and that wasn’t just lip service.

I genuinely see that with ektite’s highlights reel - everybody says he’sa raw talent etc but I see a load of clumsy goals in a league with a lot more space than you get in the premier league. doesn’t mean he won’t be good though - if we buy him then I’ll trust the process we will have gone through to decide he’s the right fit.

Same, 11 goals in 18 games under howe (strategically removing spurs and city games) was great for our defence and dubs - burn for me lead the line as soon as he came in (in tripps absence) and everyone looked better for it. i actually was confident by the end of the season that we could hold on to 1 - 0 leads.

No, I just didn’t like the statement that he was only signed because we couldn’t get botman. Nobody knows why he was signed - all we know is he was signed, he came and did what was needed.

Yeah but it’s forest - they practically have no squad, no real money to throw around and this is the best they could get I reckon.

Harsh - first wood now people are turning on burn, these players came in and kept us up easily - putting in amazing performances for us, just because we’re signing better players now - don’t go putting burn down. Both burn and botman will be our best two left footed cb’s and its good to have 2 in every position, we now have it with keeper and will with this so that’s how I choose to see these 2 signings.
