The reason it's been good to have Burn at LB this season is because we lack a proper CDM. Bruno is a 6 really, so when we push forwards so does Bruno, which means Burn tucks back into a back three. If we bring in a quality CDM we can allow for both fullback to push up and leave both CBs and the CDM at the back to defend.

For all our sakes, I really do hope we draw an Italian team in the group stages.

Burn is obsolete in this type of game. They are so deep, he's not tucking into a back 3 he's actually pushing forward into midfield to let Bruno go forward. We need Targett on to get the overlap going and perhaps push Isak in behind Wilson to help get between their back 3. 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 Or even 4 - 2 - 4 if Leicester keep this crap up.

If Longstaff hasn't trained for going on 4 weeks and only started since Thursday I struggle to see him starting the game. Joelinton, Bruno and Anderson will do just fine. Longstaff can come on for 15 minutes once the game is done to get Bruno out of harms way.

Might get a good idea from the Brighton Vs Southampton game tomorrow how much of an easy ride Liverpool will get on the last day. I don't think we could. Brighton are far better than Spurs. That hammering we gave Spurs was as a result of various shitty things going on with them, coupled with our good run of form. This Brighton team will barely let us have 6 shots on target, let alone ship 6 goals.

I don't have any doubt we'll score,I don't think that's our biggest issue right now. We should've had a couple against Aresnal ourselves really. Its defensively where we look a bit awkward, especially in transition and we seem to give the ball away so much more in midfield these last 2/3 games.
