Has anyone said this is a must win yet? Obviously it isn't, but I'd rather not leave it to the last day. Brighton have had some odd results recently, losses to Forrest and Everton but big wins against Man Utd and Wolves (big in number of goals) make this really hard to to be either confident or worried about, I've got no real idea how to feel about this game at the moment. Just hoping for a win to calm us all down.

Hard way to lose it for Chesterfield but let's be honest they finished 25 odd points below Notts County who deserve it for the season they've had.
-
Lucky to get a point really. Poor defensively again.
-
Doesn't deserve Champions League on this showing.
-
Terrible defending again. One cross in and we're fucked.
-
I agree, definitely more of an Urak-Hai look to the away following.
-
Glad that Schade guy is coming on for Brentford, he was superb against us.
-
Wow, a yellow card shown to a Liverpool player.
-
That should've been Fabhinos second yellow and he should be off now.
-
How does Fabhino get away without a yellow card there? That's insane.
-
The moments that stick in my mind have been at home. Southampton just recently being a prime example but it happened against Man U also and Wolves if I remember rightly. All had big chances within 1 or 2 minutes of KO.
-
No, obviously quite the opposite against Spurs.
-
We've started so badly in the last few games and always seem to give the opposition a great chance in the first minute. I can see Aresnal being one up in the first 5 minutes and then we'll wake up.
-
We'd lose out on both of those. Thank fuck its not closer than it is. We won't need GD or any of that. Good old fashioned points will be enough.
-
He wants to play UCL football. It's not about him wanting to stay anymore, its about whether he's worth more to us as a player or as cash in the bank.
-
Perhaps we can. If we have to pay a little over the odds to get one of them and he can convince the other to sign for free, it's probably worth it.
-
Mane anyone?
-
Liverpool fixtures aren't easy. They still have to play Brentford (not easy, better than Fulham, who Liverpool struggled against) and Villa (who beat us comfortably). Leicester may go into their game with Liverpool NEEDING a win so that's no easy game. Southampton away on the last day is the only game you could describe as easy and they will probably already be relegated by then anyway.
-
JWP as one of 5/6 midfield options throughout a long season where we are in 4 different competitions is a good but of business.
-
He could be correct by the time we play though. Perhaps he is just looking into the future, because if Liverpool lose both games before we play then a win would see UCL confirmed.
-
The reason not to, is wtf do you then do if that doesn't work? What's the Plan B? The beauty of starting just one of them is you can change it if it's not working. It's been working out for us the last few weeks so I don't see the need to change it now. Only if Longstaff is out would I consider starting them both.

Any headlines from this weekends games will 100% be Coronation/Royalty related. "Royal Rumble at St James's Park as Aresnal abdicate title bid with 3-0 loss"
-
The fact Joelinton isn't in this, makes me wonder whether you're serious. I'd put alot of money on Joelinton (if fit and available) starting out first leage game of next season and starting our first European game of next season.
-
Ideally Longstaff will back in the XI and ASM back on the bench. Could see Almiron rotated in for Murphy and Wilson starting. Gives us a great bench to come on an impact the game if we need it to. Pope Tripps Schar Botman Burn Longstaff Bruno Willock Almiron Wilson Joelinton

But if we get 6 points it also means we've won two games, so you've got to account for atleast another +2 on our goal difference. Liverpool defence aren't going to keep 5 clean sheets
