If Vinicius had a better first touch he'd be unstoppable. He's got in between the City defence a few times but hadn't been able to get the ball under control.
-
Hugely underrated I think (Silva). Mainly because of the way he plays. Very much reminds me of Scholes but not as dirty.
-
Casemiro is a knobhead.
-
That's why Walker is so invaluable when you defend as high as City do.
-
I do, all English final is the main reason. However I also don't like Real Madrid, so it's an easy decision.
-
I would definitely be happy if he signed. Can play in a back 3 as well. Certainly a ball playing CB as Howe obviously prefers. He would potentially want a move ahead of the World Cup as well to ensure he is playing regularly.
-
All depends what system/formation we play next season and that in turn will most likely depend on who we can sign. Another tick in the Lingard box is his ability to play in a few different positions.
-
Going on the basis of "What would Bruno think?", I think actually Lingard has a very good reputation in terms of being a good role model and a big personality in the dressing room. I get impression he'd be a instant hit with his new teammates regardless of what club he ends up at.

First one in the door once the window opens perhaps? Wouldn't be surprised. Would allow us to sell Almiron/Fraser and recoup some money without need to spend anything on their replacement.
-
Other than this current season he has been fairly average in terms of goals and contributes barely anything in terms of assists. I know these stats arent the most in depth but could be a case of a one season wonder.
-
Would be an upgrade on Fraser/Almiron for sure but blows hot and cold like alot of wide forwards/wingers. Scored quite a few "big" goals for Spurs though, has a knack of it.
-
So is he considered another coach? Or is he an analyst of some sort?
-
Somewhere between what you said and "buy an entire new squad, this lot aren't good enough for top 6" is probably where we need to be aiming.
-
Chelsea are crap! Next season is going to be interesting if they can't get their business in order. There will be 8/9 clubs who will think they can achieve top 6, not including Liverpool or City who will be the top 2 again.
-
Two impressive saves from Pickford! Fair play to him for that first one especially.
-
Good grief this commentator really wants Everton to win!
-
There are reason for not signing Targett, but that isn't one of them. It's a ridiculous argument to say that no players in the bottom 10 clubs of the Premier League are capable of excelling in a club going for top 8. It's actually laughable that you could believe that. Its your opinion ofcourse and you're entitled to it, but your opinion in this instance is stupid. By your standards if we were to finish 11th or lower (extremely likely), none of the players we have should be in this team if we want to compete for Europe.
-
Definitely has changed his game in the last 4/5 games. He was far more willing yesterday to close down defenders. I think it's just a sign of the progress we've made, every other player in the team has moved up a level and ASM has stood still more than anyone else. It's just the fact he is no longer the one player we rely on so he's getting more stick.
-
He wasn't great yesterday, but no one stood out other than perhaps Dubravka and Bruno. I'm not going to make a judgement on whether he can have a future here until next season (World Cup Break) when he's had a full pre season under Howe and he has different players around him in attack and midfield.
-
Would be nice to have Everton not only lose today but also lose by 3 or more goals to make the GD even worse. To have them go down but by GD would be even sweeter.
-
Our attackers were also toothless though. Easy to defend against what we threw at them. Didn't help that not a single player in our side seemed to be able to stay onside.
-
Never have I before seen a referee stop play for a head injury because a player headed the ball. It didn't hit him in the face, he dived down to head it with the top of his head and the ref stopped it after he stayed down. What a load of bollocks.
-
Spurs game was a blessing in disguise I think. Howe will have taken note of what happened and you won't see us get beaten like that again in the foreseeable future I don't think. Not unless it's by sheer quality of the opposition. Liverpool are not unflappable but they the best team we'll have come up against this year. We absolutely have a chance however slim it may be. Alot of thing I'm our favour today as well, Home Game, Early KO etc.

Excited even more so for this one! Will be interesting to see what Wor Flags have planned for today. Not at the game in person so I hope BT show it on TV rather than just blithering on about how good Liverpool/Klopp are.
