4231 relies to much on ASM tracking back. Although it does allow Willock or whoever is player as the CAM much more freedom. I much prefer 433 with the players we have as I still think we are weak in midfield so we need the extra player in there to compensate.

Those statistics suggest that Clark and Lascelles are both better than Schar purely down to the fact they win for Aerial Duels and make the same amount of progressive passes, yet how many mistakes do they both make per game. Far more than Schar is for certain and how many of those 'progressive passes' are just hopeful punts upfield? I'm not a fan of any of our current CBs tbh and it's been an issue for the last 3 seasons. We'll see how Burn does and I suspect he will be a huge improvement on all of them. Huge shame Fede has been out so much this season as he is far better than the other 3 but still isn't particularly good enough and should've been replaced along with the rest a couple seasons ago.

He will score a few, we've got a much improved squad since the first 2 games he's played. I've no doubt that with more quality in the team now he will start scoring. I hope now with Bruno in the team we'll get alot more out of our attacking players. 5/6 before seasons end would be fine. Hopefully that begins with a goal against Everton.

Going to be difficult to second guess the XI that starts against Everton. Not a certainty that he'll bring Burn, Targett and Bruno all in straight away. I do think he should but its hard to see him dropping Shelvey or Lascelles. Can't see an issue myself with having Bruno and Shelvey as 2 of a midfield 3. Having 2 players in there with the ability to play balls through to the forwards is a massive plus. At the moment, if the opposition nullify Shelvey, we lack that ability to make balls over the top or diagonal switches. With two players capable of that it suddenly makes it much easier to execute.

If we stay up, basically yes. Or tbh I could quite easily see Gayle and Wilson both leaving. Wilson as good as he is, is a liability in terms of injuries. Wilson and Gayle out and 2 new strikers in.

I'd hope 90% of them would get moved on even if we are relegated. Those players won't get you promoted from the Championship anymore.

100% We can't change every player in the squad. He'd be third choice playing the system we are in now and he'd have a good shout of starting a reasonable number of games if we play 2 up top.

With Bruno and hopefully Lingard coming in that'll certainly increase our chance creation rate. So these players who have been working with scraps for quite a while now might actually have the opportunity to start scoring some goals.

This could all change in the next 7/8 hours but assuming we get Burn and Targett in I'm happy with the look of the back 4. Trip Lascelles Burn Targett Obviously Schar or Fede would be preferable to Lascelles but he won't be dropped. The Midfield is the trickiest area to consider as we've only had Bruno come in and we definitely needed more in this area. Joelinton Bruno Shelvey That would be our most likely midfield 3, with Willock and Longstaff being rotated/subbed in for various games. The attacking front 3 is the most changeable (other than ASM). This is depends on Lingard coming in as I think he is a certain starter on the right if so. Lingard Wood/Wilson ASM Obviously Wilson starts ahead of Wood when he's back but who knows how many game Wilson will actually be able to play in the rest of this season. Almiron and Fraser could come in and player either side or its possible to switch to play with a 2 up top and 1 in behind.
