If anybody needed any reminder how Americans see football then just have a look at this:

This last 15 minutes has been bad. The gap between us and this Liverpool team is Grand Canyon-esque. Especially without Isak but even with him I'm not sure we do THAT much better.

It's becoming tedious. The problem is the three that are coming on aren't exactly settling the world alight offensive. I know Miley scored last game but that's not his thing usually.

Well there it is. Definition of madness this game. We do the same thing we've done since minute one and expect something different to happen. Howe will change it up now but it's too late. Osula will get his 30 minutes battling against a Liverpool defence sitting back to see out the game.

It would eradicate diving overnight at least.

Tino again. He's so poor coming into the middle onto his left foot. I wish Howe wouldn't force him into this inverted full back role, I don't think he's suited to it.

I thought Diaz was meant to be crap. I've seen countless Liverpool fans moaning about him this season but he's had Tinos number all game.

Can't begin to explain how infuriating it is that an opponent can injure a player and then the offending team get a man advantage for the next couple of minutes after that.

Well Wilson made it past HT. Only just though.

Barnes is anonymous defensively though. I wouldn't trust him to track Salah, at least Willock does help out in that way.

I'm somewhat surprised/pleased that's it's just 1-0. We've had one big chance so far and we'll need more than that in the second half to get anything from this.

He's been average recently and we're just used to him being very good I think thats perhaps the best way I can describe it. Not up to his usual high standards.

And Gordon has done half of it for him.

One thing I will say is at least we're playing better than we did second half against Forrest.

Bruno has been poor so far. Hard work for him and Tonali though seeing as they are basically the only two in there. Willock is clearly playing as support for Wilson.

They've arguably got 5 players on their bench capable of coming on and making a difference for the better to their performance. It's generous to suggest that we maybe have 2. The second half is going to be tough if we concede again.

That's an awful miss.

That's why he's in the team and he's blown it.

Momentum isn't something I've seen us have any of in this match so far.

Ally Mccoist has gotten gradually worse over the last year or so. He's desperate for them to score a few.

Wouldn't be shocked to see Gordon pick up an injury here. He's having to do three times as much running than usual because Wilson and Willock are doing the bare minimum.

I see you're not up to speed on your asteroid news. The probability of that asteroid hitting earth is now just 0.0004%. So you'll have to deal with your emotions some other way unfortunately.

It's also the least important game out of the next three. Isak doesn't need to be risked. West Ham is more important, especially if we lose tonight and obviously the final is the most important game of the season so far I'm some ways
