I don't disagree entirely with you, ideally he's a squad player and he is needed for our homegrown quota BUT I'm fairly sure he will be starting at least the first 2/3 games of next season. Tonali won't be back from his ban, Big Joe and Little Joe may not quite be up to speed and Bruno may well have been sold. All ifs and buts ofcourse. I've mentally prepared myself to see him start more often than not next season.

The comeback is on....

Spurs play football like a hyperactive 9yr old. Alot of sprinting around with no real aim and screaming when things don't go their way.
-
After today they have 5 games left. Burnley and Sheff Utd are two of them. The other 3 are difficult but we'd have to win all four remaining games and they'd need to pick up only 4 points from their last 5. As poor as they've been, I'm certain they'll beat Burnley and Sheff Utd and I'm not certain we can win all 4 of ours anyway.
-
I'll be surprised if Spurs win, Arsenal will have too much for them I think. We won't be catching them now so if they win and make Arteta cry I'm fine with that.
-
That third kit needs more green, perhaps the whole side panel. Either way that's still my favourite of the three. I do like the idea behind the away kit but it's been done before too recently to get me all that excited.
-
I'm hoping that they'll spread it around more. Tripper, Tonali, Gordon and Bruno all capable of the current squad in taking set pieces. Others may come in the summer as well who can do so. We just need to switch it up more often rather than Trippier taking 99% of them.
-
Think that might depend if they start sliding down the table in the next season or two. They finish out of the top 8 this season and then next season I'm sure he'd consider moving on and the club will have to sell before he goes for free.
-
At least when he's here we're in control of his game time and training schedule etc. It's always a risk sending players out on loan to the Championship in the summer, because obviously you'd want him to go to a club challenging at the top of the table and playing a similar style to us and that's hard to predict at the best of times. If Leeds don't go up, that would be a decent loan for him next year. But if he does go and potentially then Miley would as well then we'd definitely need another CM in.

The fact Man Utd drew against Burnley today has almost made up for us losing to Palace. Shame West Ham got a point though.
-
Quite surprising how in this 10 day break the club have been able to accurately remove all footballing ability from these players. Crazy turn is form.
-
Good job we've got another game so soon. Need to put this shit right ASAP.
-
Oh dear oh dear . Worst performance of the season .
-
This is turning into a very bad night indeed.
-
Well it's been coming. ...
-
West Ham were 4-1 down by this point at the weekend.
-
Just about sums up this first half. Even the ref wants to see as little more as possible.
-
Not looking good this half. Although I'm hopeful if we can get to HT at 0-0 we do seem to improve in the 2nd half most of the time. The legs are just waking up again for some players it would seem.
-
You'd think he should be by now. I imagine Howe is just sticking with the guys who did so well against Spurs. Tino will come on sooner than later for Murphy.
-
15 minutes in and not a single attempt on goal. On or off target. Poor start.
-
I reckon Klopp could go another 7/8 seasons at least if he just stops berating the 4th official every 30 seconds. That must take an awful lot of energy.
-
Win tonight and then also next two "easy" games against Sheff Utd/Burnley and we can afford to drop points against Man Utd. The Brighton game before will be much harder I think, I'd take a point from both of those as long as we get minimum 7 from these next 3.
-
Pretty much guaranteed I reckon. Makes a lot of sense to stick to what worked against Spurs but also seeing as Palace play 343 as well its a no brainer.
-
Targett is currently worth very very little considering his injury and how little he's played in the previous 18 months. We'd be lucky to get anything close to £5M this summer. Wilson is 32 and going into his last years which will be even more injury filled than his prime year's. He's got experience and scores goals etc but his downsides are so glaring. If we can get somewhere between £10M and £15M I'd take it. Plus he's in his last year now (?) Almiron is the big one. He's 30 but he still plays like he's 20 and this current injury aside is pretty sturdy. Saudi seems the obvious choice for him. I think we could squeeze £20M out of one of those clubs over there for him.

We'd probably still end up in pot 6.
