Nah he is done. And it's fucking obvious that he is.

He seems just spent, making poor decisions upon poor decisions. Starting the has been Trippier 6 games in 20 days is just so mindnumbingly stupid. I've been saying for a while that his playstyle doesn't fit with playing two games a week, and now im also starting to think that his mentality doesn't fit either. Works himself into exhaustion just like he does with our players. We are lucky we got the points we got, otherwise i'd be really scared looking down at the table with the way things are looking now.

Trippier has also played quite a few games just after he returned from injury. If he starts tomorrow that would be his 6th start in under 20 days. Maybe not a coincident that the only one he didn't was against PSG? Would easily even start Murphy ahead of him. Pressing high just becomes a bad option with him in the line up. He is that slow.

Well I don't want him to leave right now. Don't think anyone would do a better job with our current squad next season if we don't get some kind of european competition. But sure, as of right now my opinion is that long-term we need to be looking elsewhere if we have ambitions of getting into Europe every season. So I guess it also depends on how much backing Saudi is willing to give us. And It's not all about the results for me, I also would like to see us play more attractive football.

Eddie taking us to the CL next season and then accepts an offer for the England job feels like the best case scenario for me atm. I'm just not seeing any signs that he has learned how to cope with Europe, at all.

But I don't think there exists any fanbase where you don't see comments like that at times. I'm sure if I looked at Arsenal's forum there would be some there aswell, even with how well they are doing this season

It's not like City didn't miss a fuckton aswell. We were nowhere near getting through this semi-final. Admire his "win every game at any cost" all you guys want, but he will never be successful playing in Europe if he doesn't learn how to think ahead and manage a squad through a season.

Yeah sorry for not being overly optimistic when we didn't bring in anybody and are stuck with the defense we saw today playing twice a week the next two months. If there is a time to not be a happyclapper, this ain't a bad one.

We all knew we overpaid for Wood. I don't think it's fair to call him a flop considering how desperate we were at the time. Sure he didn't score a lot goals, but did his job as a target man and helped us stay out of what looked like would be a relegation fight. Well worth the small loss we took on him.

Is there really a point of using stats from 2 years ago when we spent £250m this summer on transfer fees? Think a few of our best players have also gotten a bumb in their contract since them.
