Insane how people keep underestimating Kane

Hard to take in all that is happening live. But from what i saw he had a few sloppy passes and got caught in possesion a couple of times. Also didnt have any standout moments. As an average Joe i only take in 10% of what is happening though, so for all i know he could have been vital to our win.

Only 3/7 from pot 1 and 1/6 from pot 2 that are better than us on paper i'd say. And if we get Barca from pot 1, we cant get Real from pot 2. So chances of getting 2 better teams are 2/7x1/6 = 5%. Not that its going to be easy, but if I could get even odds on us advancing to the knockout I would take the bet in a heartbeat.

30m is still a lot for a 31 year old with a year left on his contract. No way i want to risk the competition thing he got going on with Isak for that amount though.

Dont think the scoreline was flattering at all based on chances atleast. They looked dangerous sometimes, but couldn't convert it into clear chances. Atleast not that i remember. We on the other hand missed som pretty big ones: Tonali, Isak, Wilson all missed 1v1 with the keeper. Almiron had a chance on open goal, and could have gotten another if not teared down by the keeper. Also had a dangerous cross a feet or so away from a Wilson tap in. Joelinton header cleared on the line.

We are like the 8th favorite to win the whole thing, must get a really difficult group for us not to be likely to advance to the next stage.

Eddie did say that he thinks RBs easily can move over to LB, but not the other way around for some reason.

Unless we have a fairly priced replacement lined up, he is a keeper.

Surely has to be a LB? I love Burn, but he just doesnt have the speed or offensive threat to play there at the top level. Targett hasnt proved himself either imo.

Just think when this guy gets back to the form he had in the first 12 months with us. Then i wont take anything off the table.

3-3 Wasn't that impressed with them defensively. Think we can get a few goals on the counterattack. Just cant get of to a bad start.

Should try hard to fit Gordon in somehow yes.

Feels unfair to Gordon or Almiron, but this guy just have to start the next game.

When the keeper makes a deliberate foul it should always be a red, no matter where on the pitch you are. Open goal is open goal.

Rarely feel sorry for professional footballers. Especially a guy living his dream and are going to play champions league for his boyhood club this year

I thought it was a good chance he would start. Havent really seen that many examples of this easing in of players that people go on about here.

What exactly are arguing you for/against here? No doubt Arsenal has more attacking threat than us depth wise, probably top of the league in that area. We have no business competing against them. Then again, we had no business competing for top 4 last season. Lets see what Eddie can do.

Really dont think its insane to think Spurs could get relegated without Kane. He scored almost half of their total goals and they were lucky to get as many points as they got. If they get off to a bad start and the atmosphere gets toxic who knows what can happen.

Seriously doubt that we spent £35m only for him to cover for a guy that played almost every minute last year. Howe must think he can play in other positions aswell.
