I put unhappy because that's what i mostly am watching our games other than CL this season. Don't really think the grass is greener on the other side for us atm though. I want him to get another season to show what he can do with the players he bought with some time on the training ground. Preferably without being in any european competition(I'd still take CL ofcourse).

What I mean is that Eddie has shown little signs that he can handle that many games and still be a competitor for top spots in the PL. Getting to the final in Conferance would fill up the schedule for the entire season.

Best performance in 30 years 🤣 We barely created any chances and had a horrible defensive performance. Sure we played very good football for 30 mins. That doesn't overwrite everything else.

Yes we can! Going for all 4 competitions this season was a really stupid idea and it's baffling to me that otherwise intelligent people think anything else. The inability to see what the inevitable consequences would be is like a glitch in their brains. Saying that's just how Eddie is, is like Amorin saying that he only plays with wingbacks. When you are a top professional manager you really need to learn to be pragmatic and flexible.

Not in general play, but not far off considering the state of our defence today. They had more than there share of chances.

But when you look at how we have looked in the PL and the packed schedule ahead for an already tired squad with a few injuries on key players, it's really fucking hard to be optimistic.

We were getting a top 8 team in the knockoffs though. Bayern, Arsenal, City(for us atleast) would all be harder matchups. Only Spurs and Sporting easier. Also avoid Real Madrid, Bayern, City and Arsenal in the quarter final if we get there.

He had a game like this earlier in the season, so not going to get my hopes up just yet. Maybe it's just that his place is at the LW? Getting pretty filled up there if thats the case.

Answered a lot of my criticism with being able to with success rotate a few players and changing up the playstyle. Just don't get why he can't do that more often. But atleast it shows that he has is it in him. Still doesn't answer the biggest criticism of how much we struggle against a low block though, but nobody's perfect I guess. To me he now gets the next season pretty much regardless of what happens going forward. Hope we avoid conferance/Europa myself and he can get a clean run in the PL. I'd take another CL campaign ofcourse, but hard to see that happening.
