Since Bruce likes to bring up Rafa so much here’s a good comparison between the two - has Rafa even brought up how he was treated by Everton’s fans?

The argument of Klopp vs Pep is pretty much settled for me at this point, look at the sums spent on that City side compared to what Klopps done with Liverpool who might be about to win their second CL under him this weekend. Klopp started with a side that was nothing close to what it is now. Hes brought in players and improved them as individuals, made them better than they were than when they signed - can we really say that for Pep (Of course there will be one or two exceptions either way, but generally Klopp seems a far better coach at fulfilling players potential than Pep). Look at the team he had when he took over compared to the very solid base Pep started with at City, he had the foundations of Kompany, Aguero, Silva ect to build on.. to me Klopp built a house from scratch where as Pep inherited something that was already half finished and spent away until it was done. Obviously if you give a manager funds they will spend regardless, but if the roles were reversed I don’t think we would be talking about Pep being in his 2nd CL final at Liverpool.

Villa is a decent shout tbf, with Gerrard and all.

He’s on like £160k pw atm, he’ll be looking for that or similar for one last big contract before he hangs it up so Id say no.

Just exposed himself for being completely out of touch and putting no work into researching/scouting players at all. The man talks about football like it’s still the 70s, god knows how he gets through interviews let alone actually getting the jobs. ‘I need some energy in this side - go and see if you can find me a couple of young ones.’

I hope that its true but it does seems an oddly specific bit of info to release to a journo, just incites more fan expectation and pressure on to the people in charge of transfer business because it just lets other clubs know we are ready and willing to splash the cash this summer.

Proper lacking from a professional standpoint to have a dig at a random player by name, pissed or not. He’s defo going to be a bit insecure about this season so will take a sly dig at someone else to take the heat off himself, says a lot about him really. He’s a player who’s career could slide in the long term, his attitude seems to stink.

Tbf I think Mitro has done decent numbers in the PL under the circumstances, something like 10 in 35 for us in his first season here and about the same for a newly promoted Fulham a few years back. Im very interested to see how he does next season after the year he’s just had in the championship, there might be a bit more to come from him at the highest level.
