Still not quite sure that even happened last night The momentum we have been building into that performance last night, people are talking about a hangover performance coming vs West Ham. I think we are just as likely to run through them as well right now.

A night we will never forget.

Everyone needs to calm down

They just don’t want it like we do

No words

It’s the same hole they have been digging for years, overpay and add to their already massively inflated wage bill for players that always seem to flop. The same reason they couldn’t shift Maguire to West Ham will be the same reason that Sancho won’t leave without a big pay off or a chunk of his wage paid still being paid by Man United. Their recruitment process has been broken for years, they bring these (most of the time over rated or not suited to their style and/or the PL) young players into a toxic environment and those players fail.

Not so sure, Arteta doesn’t use him for a reason and I suspect that it’s down to a lack of physical ability to consistently be active in the press for 90.

There is no way Diaz was offside, it was clear even without lines. Very odd how quickly they seemed to decide he was off, just a reminder that even with VARs help human error will still get things wrong.

What even was that pass
-
He’s a robot
-
I was only referring to the slip, I missed the first few minutes so have no idea what happened before that
-
Unfortunate is the word I’d use
-
It wasn’t, he slipped
-
Lascelles to smash in a header from a Trippier set piece

Isak said post game that he was fine, so we’ll see I guess
-
I’m sure he did and that’s why we went in for him, can’t say I saw a lot of him outside of their games vs us. Without trying to sound like that, it’s a different game putting in 7/8 out of tens every week in our first choice back 4 rather than looking good in Southamptons. The kids clearly got it and has only just returned from a long term injury, he’s going to grow here and we’ll see what he’s capable of long term.

You can see why we were so keen on him, seems to have that elite mentality built into him already. Won’t over react after one incredible performance but this kid is potentially our future starting RB and so far has shown all the reasons why.

The momentum builds

A lot of our fans seemed to have had their mind made up before even signed.. a lot of negative emotion came out because he’d been a shithouse against us before, ugly etc It really felt like a lot of us were just waiting for their chance to label him a shit waste of £40m. Glad he’s proving the doubters wrong, his assets were always clearly a good fit for our system and squad. Think I said back in the summer he was the player I was most excited about developing here, something along those lines. Can’t quite claim my ‘I was right’ badge just yet after only 6 games but I have a feeling he will continue to win everyone over.

Only 30. I was surprised to.

8 away from home with 8 different scorers is just unheard of obviously, it’s absolutely unreal I don’t think I’ve ever seen a worse home performance at this level though, and it will probably cost Heckingbottom his job. I think the most important aspect of today was not only how we put a tactically dysfunctional side to the sword, but the timing of this beat down is perfect. Dump city out on Wednesday night and we’ll be in that kill mode going forward I feel, key players will be returning to full fitness over the next 14 days as well. Exciting couple of weeks ahead.

Well, what the fuck What a perfect moment to get a massive momentum booster result like that after the sickener against Liverpool still sticking in our memory. On to Wednesday night.

Wheres the Gordon doubters now???
