Think it’s plainly clear now that Ekitike has been badly advised since his move to PSG.. needs to drop his agent or whoever it is in his ear before it’s to late for his career. Although with Neymar and Messi gone it is feasible he’s thinking he will get more game time now, it does feel like a bullet dodged for us overall. I expect him to have a decent breakout season then get a good move next summer, he’s potentially far better than Everton and his attributes are well suited to the PL. It can take more than the summer break to get up to the type of fitness it takes to dish out a high intensity pressing game that is demanded from our wide play, it wasn’t the only reason he was subbed but I’d bet it was the biggest one.
