Number 17 this world cup. Now, I can send you multiple brazilian links, but not a uk one!
-
Way better than in United, but he's clearly limited. He helps a lot on the solid defense we have (it was his entrance replacing arthur that made our mid start to really work, him, Paquetá and Raphinha).
-
The main team is Alisson, Danilo, Thiago Silva Marquinhas and Alex Sandro, Casemiro, Fred (Vini Jr), Paqueta, Richarlison, Neymar and Raphinha. Vini and Richarlison are actually contenders for Fred spot with Paquetá being the 2nd man in the midfield, but, if Brazil is gonna win this, we're gonna change this team during the cup. We've never won a title without changing the team during the competition, that's where I think Bruno will get a starting place. If it's gonna be on Fred or Paqueta spot I don't know. I see we finishing the tournament with something like: Alisson, Danilo, Thiago, Marquinhos and Alex Sandro, Casemiro, Bruno, Paqueta(richarlison), Vini Jr, Neymar and Raphinha I really think that Vini and Paqueta will end up fighting for a starter place.

OK, as a brazilian and someone who watched Tite's work closely I will explain why Big Joe wasn't in the final 26. He just started playing well way too late. Tite valuer hierarchy, so, if you've performed well consistently for the national team you will have a spot until someone consistently outshines you. That's why Fred is a starter, think 2 years ago, Arthur was rubbish and Fred gave our mid deffensive security, now I think 9 out 10 coaches would play Bruno in that spot, but Bruno was rubbish in his only start for the main squad, so, Fred being his senior is the starter. That line of thinking extends to the whole squad, if, Big Joe started playing this well 6 months to 1 year prior he'd be on the squad today. Being honest, I'm amazed he made the 55 short list.

He has a calmer nature than most brazilians, but, I think little Matteo was sleeping and that's why he was so calm.

France lost Kanté, Pogba and possibly Varane. Argentina nearly losing Dybala and possibly Di Maria. Can't wait for this World cup, the "hexa" (6th title) was never that close

Well, about the Libertadores final. We actually played amazingly weel, on a level really above of what I would have expected. But if that ass of a CB even comes back to brazil wearing our colors I'm gonna be pissed. I've seen players out of our club for way less than this (I can't even put in words how much I hate this guy RN), I know our president is nearing he's 80's but if he's the same man, this asshole will never wear our jersey again. For those who didn't see the Libertadores game, he was sent off for a slide tackle at the sideline, no goal danger, the game was 100% in our favor, while already yellowed. I'm so pissed right now I can't even describe. If their team steamrolled ours I would be fine, but this close? I never wanna see his name attached to our club again. (it was his 3rd capital mistake only this week) Also, I'm extremely drunk (Thank you whoever discovered beer), so I might change my mind tomorrow morning. Right now? I'm drowning my sorrow's in a pint. (Drinking Witbeer from one the best brazillian brewers)

-
Another fine goal, the little paraguayan is on fire!
-
What a goal, I think Miggy is the toon player that's surprising me most this season.

I watched the whole game today, was curious on how he would perform against Fred and Casemiro who know each other really well since they've been playing for Brazil togheter for a while. He had an ok game, clearly anchored on a deeper role, Bruno Fernandes started the game man marking him and then Fred took up that role later, also there was a point in the game were he received a ball free and after he was fouled Fred and Bruno F. got into a bit of a argument clearly indicating that they were instructed to both keep an eye on him. What was most interesting for me today was his duel with Fred, he didn't lose one, was well pressed and kind of annulled his forward passing game, but, he didn't lose a single ball to Fred. On the other hand he took two balls from Fred that I saw, one on the edge of the box. Still think that Bruno is clearly the better player between the two, I'm curious to see how well both will perform at the WC.

Fred!
-
The bad luck of today is those hideous white-green kits fault!
-
Fernandes you cunt! That's for a red card! Could take him out of the WC!
-
Bruno showing that portuguese knock-off who's boss
-
Fred hasn't won ONE duel with Bruno the whole match, but he's the starter at Brazil
-
I hope Howe finds a way to use Isak, Wilson and ASM togheter, miggy would get the bad end of the deal but if Howe can find a way they would be lethal. BTW I started thinking about it when i saw Fraser coming in.
-
Yellow was for repeated fouls, the ref had already warned him earlier.
-
Fred wasn't able to disarm bruno even once the first half, Bruno recovered a ball on the box line from Fred and created more even though he's playing a more defensive role
-
Watching the game at Star+, they're streaming ESPN Brasil.

Great save from Pope, and actually really god movement off the ball from Antony
