Honestly think there could be another twist to this. Feels obvious now that Mitchell leaving as suddenly as he has has really played a part in fucking our Summer. Have honestly felt all along like one of the more likely outcomes to this whole mess is Isak signing a new deal, one with a slightly friendlier release clause than 150m, and going next Summer.

Wissa would be absolutely fine for a season. If you only count non-pen goals he scored as many as Isak last season. Would need a big signing next Summer mind.

Feel like if it's Muniz then we push for Wissa and he spends a season as the main striker.

Fair enough saying this about the way he plays, think it's pretty harsh when it's about him getting what could be a career (at least at the top level) ender. Sadly his body seems to be unable to hold up for any run of games without a breakdown like this. feels like he could be done as a force.

Aye, at the moment it seems like he/his agent are waiting till they have a clear idea of both offers before deciding. I do think Man U pursuing Watkins may eventually hurt them with Sesko though.
