Guessing we end up with some snidey reporting taken pic of him training before we actually get an announcement.
-
Think if we get him before Saturday it will likely be the other way around. Start on the bench then give us whatever he can (if needed) in the last 20/30 minutes.
-
I reckon he will be back training with the team this week, then towards the end of the week/early next week we get the new contract news leaked. And the PR campaign begins, then the lad goes onto to have a season for the ages... And then he fucks off next Summer for a (slightly) reduced min release clause.

Actual options on the bench! And that's assuming Thiaw and Wissa aren't involved. -
This does make sense. Though the caveat would be Strand Larsen improved as Wolves improved their manager. Which suggests he is coachable, and how well he does is likely tied to who is coaching him/how the team is set up.
-
Think Watkins can only happen if we don't get Wissa. We can sign one 29/30 year old striker. Can't be signing two.
-
Only issue with keeping him around the squad is getting him enough minutes to progress.
-
Bournemouth catching strays. They will be fine.
-
Problem is there isn't really an Isak replacement out there. At least not that we could sign.
-
See what happens when you make threads
-
Calling it now. Whoever does (if anyone does) come in as the big name replacement for Isak will be shaky at first, need some time to adjust. Betting by October Wissa is established as the main man this season, and gets 20.

I don't want to see this lads name on the board till he is holding a toon shirt in one hand and a steak bake in the other. Just in case we're the jinx.
-
That would make sense. Even Ornstein had to give him credit on one of his scoops the other day.
-
Not even trolling when I say I honestly think he will be gone by Christmas. For all those new signings, it's only really Cunha who is going to be ready to make an early impact. Mbeumo looks weeks away from being match fit, and Sesko (who is a risk anyway) is likely going to need a season to bed in. If they gave Amorim the entire season he'd probably get it right in the second half and you'd finish strong. But given the time he's already have I think if he has a shaky start, which is very possible, they will get nervous and sack him.

Aye, had a horrific time with injuries. The few games he managed to play he looked quality. Must've been a good character as well. Wasn't he immediately made vice captain? Or have I made that up in my head?
-
Anyone any idea if this lad is actually any good or not?
-
I feel like the very top can be hands off as long as they have properly empowered the people they put in place to fully run the club. The PIF don't seem to have done that since Staveley left
-
Imagine Kane trying to press. He didn't even press enough for Southgate. Howe would kill the lad
-
We may chuck in a few hair bobbles. Really push the boat out.

Sorry, may sound crazy, but I'd still take this. The Ashley days were pushing me towards an existential crisis in terms of trying to figure out if I even liked/cared about the club I supported anymore.
