  1. Need to start winning and we will. Absolutely no love lost for me vs these cunts. Sunderland are the only club I’d want to beat more. Anyone who bangs on about wanting to beat Liverpool more because they have wankers who follow them on Twitter has a floppy cock. I was at all the PL matches until the last one on here - I’m in the 4-3 video from Boxing Day 2001; still one of my favourite away days (the atmosphere was absolutely electric and vicious - precisely as it should be v Leeds)
  2. He's still there with Shearer as the best I've seen, even if he has shown himself to be a massive cunt
  3. His teammates put him to shame today - if shame is an emotion that's available to him
  4. Oof - I thought that was a coaching masterclass; we were all over them first half, so he had clearly set them up right and got them fired up. Then 2-0 down and down to ten men vs the champions, he adjusts the formation to suit and we dominate again, scoring twice before conceding ten mins into stoppage time. Set pieces remain shite, to be balanced
  5. He doesn’t show he cares, it’s a coward’s tackle. Hurt the team far more than not doing it would have. And I’m yet to see him being more effective when he’s acting like a cunt - he’s had two red cards since his last goal
  6. It’s not close to a lower midtable team on paper man - all of those players listed would get games for good sides
  7. Touching it won’t make it grow, even if that is what works for Richard Masters and your bosses
  8. Managed that for the first half vs Villa, too. We’ve got a really good side, easy to forget thanks to the Swedish circus
  9. I do tbh - sometimes you invite a shot from distance to maintain shape. A shot from outside the area needs to be very well struck to have a chance of beating the keeper - a player with acres of space 12 yards out has a much better one
  10. Agreed - some of our players were understandably dead on their feet, which is always going to open up spaces. You’re relying on those who aren’t to be on the ball.
  11. Fair enough, I disagree, but I’ll respect your take
  12. Not sure he’s a great player, like. He looks like the standard English winger of the last two decades - runs around a lot, bundles of energy, not particularly good at shooting or crossing. I wouldn’t be looking to push him out unless for a big fee, but he’s a long way from a great player.
  13. You’re watching a different game to me, lads. 2-2 with seconds left you don’t step out of your line and out of your zone to attempt to close a pass
  14. Didn’t say he was Boumsong, but that was Boumsong-esque - looked jittery on the ball and poor positional play. He’ll be better than today, no doubt about it.
  15. He moves across into the left hand side of defence and pushes out - he’s left men behind him.
  16. Went to the ball like a headless chicken rather than staying in position, entire back line ended up badly positioned as a result. Absolute basics of defending - it isn’t about being man-to-man, and the midfield wasn’t in a high press. He was out of position - it’s a brief cameo and I’m sure he’ll go on to be much better, but that was schoolboy stuff
  17. Boumsong-esque debut, absolutely at fault for the winner. Only way is up from here.
  18. Immense performance by our team today, irrespective of the score
  19. Go on then, I’ll take the draw now. Blow up you cunt
  20. It’s like going a watch a film and leaving before the last act
  21. He needs to be careful tbf - winning the ball doesn’t make a challenge a clean one
