And this is the answer to anyone asking ‘why do the other clubs support FFP?’ I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the PL is full of historically small clubs - to an unusual degree. This season we’ve won more trophies than Brentford, Fulham, Palace, Bournemouth and Brighton have between them in their combined histories - and I’ve basically just listed the PL’s midtable.
-
Man Utd and Spurs incomes dwarf the other 14 clubs even without CL football - they’re in no danger re FFP; both have around £200m+ of headroom vs the 7th richest club (us) even without CL football. They can survive extended periods like this one.

They were - and they weren’t subtle. Never bought the ‘brilliant mind games’ shite - he was outright accusing other teams of corrupt practice. He never did that again - probably because the cunt should’ve been brought on disrepute charges by the FA
-
It doesn’t - but back-of-a-fag packet calcs can be done; the picture is clearer once we know which competitions we’re in. The issue is that our income for this season won’t have grown much in relation to last season, and the wages and amortisation won’t have changed by much at all this year

Need more of this. Even better if some could scream obscenities so loud and passionately that their face becomes a veiny omelette of deep reds and blues

Apparently it isn't a requirement, but it would be remarkable if they don't - Juve has failed to qualify for Europe only five times since 1963 (91/92, 06/07, 07/08, 11/12 and 23/24) and two of those seasons was because of the Calciopoli scandal and subsequent punishment

Football, anger and casual racism - yep, it is an Italian forum

While I think it is unlikely, I’ve always found it a bit odd that most football fans don’t think that two left footed centre halves can play together, yet the vast majority of central defences since the change from W-M have had two right footed centre backs

18/1 still seems crackers to me - I haven't placed a bet in 25 years but that is seriously tempting
-
Fucking hell I wish they'd make their minds up - usually anywhere which doesn't have an NE1 postcode requires complex mackematics to work out the appropriate BW vs RW population %s

'Why is it never us'

I know what qualifying for the European Cup means financially, but can't but think that we'd be straight away one of the favourites for the UEFA Cup if we drop into it, and I think we've got the makings of a real 'cup team' vibe about us - our manager now knows how to win one, and we can beat anyone on our day. And it is of course far more prestigious than the Conference League. Dunno, I really don't think finishing sixth would be anything close to a bad outcome.

Forgot about him - that's Spurs, so they're obviously good, we can see that from the league table *checks league table* Oh

If Millwall or Blackburn make it they will be in good form tbf

Pretty much every post you’ve made - albeit only a limited number over two years - is in this thread Just wear your allegiance with pride - someone has to

No - it is reckless and dangerous and exacerbated by the slip

Aluko repeatedly blows her own feet off and doesn’t come across as a particularly likeable person to me - though she’s hardly alone in the football punditry world on that score. She often comes out with half-baked ideas and talks absolutely shite. Again, she’s hardly alone in football punditry on that front either. I wouldn’t doubt that she’s endured racism and misogyny, whether that is ‘open’ or not. No-one though seems to have questioned why a white woman - Clare McDonnell - picks out Ian Wright (possibly the only ‘regular big name’ male pundit who actually has an extensive back record of supporting the women’s game) as the example for Aluko to spear. Wright is far from the only male pundit I’ve seen on women’s football. Aluko is getting pelters, but it was McDonnell who raised Wright as an example. Odd that.

Guardiola’s right - and it was always stupid having FA Cup semis at Wembley, takes away from the occasion of the final, particularly given the size of the stadiums available at present (and the massive increases in capacities on the way). Villa Park and Hillsborough were the traditional ones of course, but anywhere is absolutely fine (I’d imagine Old Trafford would be a shoo-in). We even played one at Joker Park once, of course. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cvg7ljpyv7yo

I went on there for a look during the game. It was like a pile-on of their players and management - proper vitriol

Is the correct post

How the fuck did Sarr miss there?

Scabs vs those Brummie cunts would’ve been a complete turnoff for me. Agreed on Palace, but they’re more a petty annoyance - dislike for Forest and Villa runs much deeper
