I still think there is a good player in Willock, and I'm confident that if anyone is going to coach the lad to becoming the best he can be, then Howe is that coach. Not sure if he'll make the full journey with us, but it would be nice if he did.

Almiron is powderpuff; there’s just no end product. Of him, Murphy and Fraser, I’d keep Fraser for now, but none of them are particularly convincing. Seems like a canny lad, though. I’d like to see him carve out a decent career in a league more fitting to his abilities.

I read an article many, many moons ago in either FourFourTwo or Total Football (yeah, we’re talking late ‘90s) which argued for clubs manufacturing their own kits, as in the medium- to long-term they’d make a lot more money than they do from receiving a lumper and a minuscule cut per shirt.
