How many shit signings for mega bucks has Man Utd made? And how many will they be able to make this summer? There is a reason that the debt-leveraging cunts who own the club consistently pushed for the rule changes that were brought in. The rules allow the likes of Man Utd to make a great many more mistakes than the other 14 clubs. It’s disingenuous to even suggest otherwise.

The concern for me is that the lad is shrinking visibly in front of us at present - I feel desperately sorry for him, but that also tells me he doesn’t have anything like an ‘elite’ mentality. I’m normally furiously against the idea of playing reserves in a cup tie, but I would be tempted for the second leg. Our fixture list is horrific, and the chances of a 2+ victory margin in the return leg are practically zero.
