  1. Can't Jacob Ramsey work in that role?

    Joe Willock

Joe Willock has a better injury history than Jacob Ramsey. Both of them together should provide one healthy player.
  3. True, but the people who were key elements in making those purchasers are largely gone now.
  4. Yes considering he is homegrown and we can spend the money on a striker (or better keeper, which i was not impressed with either).
  5. Not really. We sold Longstaff so this move just evens that out. I would rather have kept Longstaff.
  6. 22/23 44 days out 23/24 270 days out; wow; metatarsal frx, foot, hamstring, toe 24/25 39 days out muscle and hamstring again Injury history. I hope this rumor isn't true.
  7. Why is Joeliinton a unicorn? He started off as a horrible striker.
  8. was there any support for these rumors beyond the media stories? I don't remember the club confirming our pursuit. I don't accept anything printed in the media as truth until it has some kind of verification. Doesn't make a lot of sense we were willing to go £55M Elanga and follow that up w/ £70M Ekitike when we need so many players unless we knew Isak was definitely leaving and I don't think we even know that now.
  9. We did that in the past yes but it seems like we are very locked in on PL players now.
  10. I don't get the hate for Mitchell. He thought our recruitment strategy was poor, and I think he was correct. Exclusively chasing overpriced PL talent is not a good recruitment model for us in our current situation.
  11. At least we know whoever is in charge is tight with money. Can't see them accepting a low bid.

    Joe Willock

Seven straight goals in seven straight games during that loan spell to tie Shearer.
  13. Everton fans mistreated Gordon to the point he demanded a move away. Not really the same situation as we have now. Youtube
  14. Guehi has been quite clear that he wants to start. I still think he ends up with us especially if Liverpool are trying for a bargain.
  15. Guehi wants to start and VVD signed a two year deal. That sounds like a negative for CP and MG.
  16. Are CP going to let Marc Guehi walk next year on a free?
  17. We just spent £55 million on Elanga and we still need a GK, RCB, and CM. It makes sense we have to be careful with the prices moving forward.
  18. Elanga can cover for Isak and has numerous starts at the position. Let's get a RCB and Trafford. Can't wait to watch the new starting 11 in action.
  19. Howe doesn't appear to be ready to trust Osula yet. He had 168 minutes for the year. That means we rely on 30 year old Murphy with Gordon and Barnes as backup, which makes the LW vulnerable. We really need a RW and Bakayoko or Kang-in Lee would make much cheaper backups who would get a lot of playing time this coming season. Madueke would work if you must have PL experience. One of those signings let us spend on RCB too. I think that is where we need a ready made starter and it will be expensive.
  20. We have several positions that need new players. Seems like such a waste of time and money. Marc Guehi part II.
  21. Transfermarkt's market values are pretty worthless.

£50m is a lot to spend on a back up striker for us this year. Chelsea has a crowded front line.

    João Pedro

Is Pedro going to cover RW or do we still need a backup there?
