Binoculars? Or ask if she can get on the bus

You just had to do set up an account once the tickets were in your basket... But loads of people wont go - doubt they need to actually distribute tickets

I think he has quite complex needs - Asperger’s or such like. if it’s a wind up it’s very well done. He followed a love supreme supporters coach in his own car to London as he didn’t want to get lost …

Bet you John Gibson was more pissed than me on Sunday night. Left the hotel there was no one in reception so put my card down and went to walk out - cue member of staff appearing and bringing me a bill for a round of drinks I’d bought in the early hours and failed to pay for. An honest mistake that I barely remember :-D

my dad was the year below as was the missus dad and they say / said the same. I went to a recent event at the live theatre where he was talking about his life and he admitted growing up in wallsend and being arty he got a lot of shit from local skinheads etc and only ever wanted uk move away from the NE. He says now he looks very fondly on his childhood and the area and admits (sort of) he was a bit of an idealistic arsehole who felt trapped. when asked about football he admitted he wasn’t a big fan like Jimmy nail who was in the front row but he did look out for NUFC snd would watch them in games if he could dnd said it was great for the area they were on the up again. sting bought cuthies a mini bus for the football team... they’re still waiting for Neil Tenant or John Carver to do likewise!!!

It was night and day - it was better than the last few away gages I’ve been to , too. Which you’d expect as a final bit sometimes doesn’t materialise as you have people who are not regular travellers. thought the fans were class all weekend. Was mint yesterday and this morning bumping into old faces and friends. Met 3 different groups of lads within 200m of my hotel in Euston if not seen for ages. Was like walking down Northumberland street

Fkin Jormans coming ower here and reigniting exiled Geordies waning interest in the national team. I didn’t vote for this like hew man…

I went to my first match in 1987 and loved Gazza and Waddle (to a lesser degree), Beardsley round one had already been sold. I'd never have followed another English club but I do get it as I had Marseille and Lazio tops once they had furthered their careers outside of England (this was at a time when we were still banned or the likelihood of Newcastle playing in Europe was a nigh on impossible scenario)

You could always get another (more faithful) son... Just kidding I assume you're a North London exile or your son likes Saka

They really don’t understand that until you realise the person you’re speaking to is from the same local area it would be natural to name a place that the average person had heard of when asked where you’re from and you narrow it down based on your perception of what will mean something tangible to the other. If an American asked where I was from I’d say England, if a Londoner asked I’d say Newcastle and if someone from South Shields asked I’d say Walker. If someone from Daisy Hill asked I’d tell then what street I lived on. It’s not rocket science!

You go to some of our nicer suburbs e.g. Gosforth, Jesmond, Benton and it’s not uncommon to see a few Sunderland shirts knocking about because most people don’t care that much really. Possibly more of a less traditional NE demographic but very attractive to upwardly mobile mackems who want to live somewhere where diversity isn’t a dance ensemble and they’re unlikely to bump into Tommy Robinson or false anti immigrant rape marches. i don’t see many around Walker / Wallsend but the odd time you do equally no one cares either. Saw one lad wherein his top in the county once think he was working nearby and a few of the locals after a bit of piss taking bought his pints all afternoon. i could be wrong (but based on my limited evidence of seeing a lass from Hendon many years ago) sitting on an estate bar on your own wearing our colours might not go down so well :-D TL: DR Durham Mags = spawn of Satan Great park / Morpeth Mackems - MLF behind enemy lines - great crack

You’re right which is why said lads will just watch it in the wink / crocketts where it’s a better atmosphere and the drink is cheaper

it mebbes wasn’t fair (however life isn’t fair and networking is a great skill that helps you in many other areas of life) but they’ve also been replaced by some who haven’t done the hard yards and dare I say it wi t be there when we’re shit again by which time we will have lost them. im still hopeful that we will see people give it a go (like v Arsenal in semi or PSG) and that given there’s likely to be no ID checks done of the lads who don’t / can’t go away anymore will get tickets. I know a few who fall into this category older LB lads who didn’t go in 2023 but are going to this.

sound like they might write for True Faith

it’s the toot isn’t it. The twitchers cannot still that then lends itself to the rushed singing
