  1. I remember thinking castore’s pricing was ridiculous at the start of the season. Especially on training gear range, so had a look at a few other clubs. Tottenham stuff was ludicrously expensive in comparison and some of the 1/4 zip training tops were £100plus. I got a few 1/4 zip training tops in our sale last week for about £25. That felt about right price wise to me, I’m either getting old or poor. or worse both.

There really should be a (not dead) added to all these type of thread titles.
  3. Was that feasible as we had the same sponsor for the years we did that? I can see it’s nice thing to do wearing the new shirt in your last home game. But as other have said, if the deal with fun 88 runs to the end of may/June then it’s just not possible. makes you wonder if there is some acknowledged dates these contracts run to and the previous lot missed a trick…. is it the same sponser for liverfool?
  4. In case anyone wanted a recap: https://www.footballkitarchive.com/newcastle-united-kits/
  5. i think for that to work the stripes need swapping, so the very middle one is white and work out so the black sleeves meet a black stripe. although no idea how that works as you go through the size range. has the guy who said his daughter modelled it confirmed this is deff it?
  6. So thought £25 for one of these 1/4 zip tops was reasonable in todays crazy prices. have to say I wasn’t expecting much, but I’m actually really surprised by how thick and good quality it is. Delivery was slow mind… I suppose the real test is how it takes after a number of washes.
  7. Has anyone suggested having a massive god save the king display tomorrow with wor flags, but with king Eddie?
  8. Never liked the white socks combo.
  9. I wonder if the first time he met tino before the boro match, he said, ‘ever thought of trying these little pull backs tino?’ ?
  10. I know castore have gone out of their way to say there is no connection between them, SD or Ashley. BUT I have no doubt* there wasn’t some sort of kickback or financial gain for Ashley directly from these deals. *obviously I have no evidence other than this is what slimy thieving cunts do.
  11. The only dean jones I’m familiar with is the actor who starred in herbie. As far as films about sentient vw Beatles go, yeah, the guys up there as the GOAT. But not sure how good his insider info on ASM is.
  12. I’m going to see what paddy power can do on that as an accumulator.
  13. ‘non of the big six have gambling sponsors, but Newcastle do’ cheeky fuckers.
  14. They seem to be suggesting it was a way around officially buying him in January and it went on the books as a loan instead. No idea how that is a benefit, fair play rules as the transfer fee goes through in Sumer? what a come down for the lad, pushing for CL in dec, now pushing not to be in the championship.
  15. I’m under the impression it was voted through by a majority of prem chairmen. That surprised me, as it really seems like top teams have an advantage with it.
  16. I think given they have tried the big names and had no success, I think they will bring in a levy yes man now. Levy probably fancies madison as on paper he should be a bargain price wise. Seems Leicester don’t get that part though.
  17. Sounds like he’s lived in England for 90% of his life. This guys English is almost impressive as his football!
  18. He’s a slime-ball, but would be the choice to be stuck in the lift with. he would probably have a deck of naked women playing cards and a hip flask on him for a start.
  19. The thing is, it’s so fucking cringe that it’s funnier left how it is. If you were shown this without any context it really does come across as a piss take on how awful a human he is.
  20. Down side of having good players again, international football can fuck off and risk other teams players.
