Generally one of the highlights of all my years watching Newcastle home and away.

Harry Palmer Geordie Medley on Spotify..that's all you need

What are they like in terms of alcohol, always think Brits go away for too long, they seem to be less prone to 3 days benders I presume ?

Out trip to Brugge was class, seen villas fan's there and looked proper tame in comparison, remember that square people hoying footballs out their bedroom windows to our fans below. Remember being in a nightclub walking down stairs and my mate behind me slipped and took me and numerous fans with him to the bottom of the stairs, the bar staff give us all refills and some freebies too, still think that trip topped the champions league ones of late.

Obviously all paper talk but in terms of the grounds you have visited in Europe do you think any we should particularly model on, I'm hoping whatever the decision as close to pitch as possible and steep one tier stands.

Really can't understand anyone who can't get up for it, seeing all the press this week, our captains comments, the buzz of walking up Wembley way...this for me is what sets football apart from any other sport... Fair play on everyone's effort outstanding...the fans needs to do the same now... -
Attendances aren't great midweek as it was well known particularly in the premier league seasons they have the largest amount of season ticket holders who live down the country....last 12 years of living in the south and all the times I've travel up for the match those fans I seen en route must of been Grimsby fans....

I remember from that season we got relagated and then years back in Prem I thought out away support was best in the country in terms of loyal support, always thought other clubs coming to st James would be results driven away ends, plenty of our away ends like Spurs, Stoke, West Ham we would just be loud for 90 mins and everyone would stay full 90. Imagine being 5-0 down 90 mins today, certainly wouldn't be bouncing or full. I met a mate of mine who's Spurs season ticket holder and goes away alot after that heavy cup defeat in 2014/15 and he was saying how our support put any club to shame he'd seen for long as could remember that night...

True, my only worry is that will be around 5 years away at best.

Disappointing no seat moves or plans to shake things up....

Always think there passion doesn't get credit in Holland, how much is a ticket at PSV? Do they have 2 standing areas there. Definitely gonna get out to Holland in the next year, went to Ajax few times when working out there and been to Eindhoven but never to a game. Always found the Dutch know how to serve a canny pint.

Sven Botman: Out for up to 8 weeks after minor Knee operation (Howe)

Trouble is he's already been out for as many games as he's been available since he joined us and just turned 25. Really feel for him but we might need to look at 2 centre halfs. -

Rumours are he may need surgery, hopefully not the case obviously. -
Reality is they've always been 2nd fiddle, when sky did that most watched team in each region in 2015, County Durham, north Tyneside and South tyneside was all Newcastle. Theres a weird assumption that all Newcastle fans don't go to matches whereas they are all die hards.. it's not unusual for fans to move to Devon etc from north east either, I moved down South and my kids will be black and white, likewise bloke 2 doors ups parents are from Consett and him and his kids travel up like me for home games. But no narrative is they Saudi bandwagoners...

Feel for him, major knee surgery on both knees in early 20s, worry is he isn't the quickest as it is let along another major injury.
