Aye and any fan who had a go at it SBR were idiots and his comments were absolutely spot on. We had'nt won anything in years and he came in to a club certain to be relagated and had European football all within such a short space of time. The dressing room comment always me laugh as those who thought they were above him probably peaked career wise under him and we got significantly worse after he left. I know a huge bonus of SJP is amount of pubs nearby but I can see how it hinders the atmosphere in a way. I got in at 7:25pm on Wednesday and it seemed nearly full, that definetly spills over into stands and improves atmosohere. There is a big argument for big games to get in early and let the atmosphere build. Btw this is coming from me who likes to get my last pint in at 2:30pm (when we lucky enough to play at 3pm)

Agreed I think people forget what and how good you can make modern stadiums. 4 level stands at 65k with an end for standing, improved bars and facilities. The 2 larger stands make a stadium expansion really difficult to work.

Still think should be mlre emphasis from wor flags on actual singing than flags as well. Worst thing about ground is far too much of mix in stands, still don't know why seat moves were not offered past couple years, why not offer fans seat moves so more vocal fans can sit together etc

Believe me a ne stadium with 8k standing is appealing to me.

Beyond a joke, was same for me v Brentford, got in my seat 15 mins after k.o. every game been 20 mins to get in minimum. Aye trouble is with atmosphere all comes from one end. I thought the way Milan policed it massively didnt help, fans had to walk 2 miles from metro station to ground, was pretty much 3 hour journey from canal area to stand. Was flat in ground for periods of time, everytime me and the lads would sing it would spread but not enough do same imo We were actually speaking to some AC ultras at restaurant near our airbnb, they said thsy only meet before game and all together so they have energy for the game, makes sense as i was shattered by k.o. also all the racket in san siro comes from around 4-6k ultras

First half always going to be flat when thousands cannot get in on time. My observations so far: 1- fans should beable to select their seats in ballot- key is like minded fans tofether. 2- coroprate in different stands is shite, should be together not spread around. 3- need safe standing in Leazes also 4- ticketing into ground is ridiculous, other clubs make it work, i'm not getting to ground 45 mins early. 5- general sale seats- allow seat moves at start of year to get more lads together. 6- too many miserable fuckers.

Absolute joke the ticketing system, got in at 5:40pm. Ground wasnt full until 5:45ish, kills atmosphere completely. I'd say the corner were loud and proud as were other corner but leazes is full of boring twisting spectators. Said it a million times...get another standing end in there. Full of idiots who clap the attendance and fuck off after 84 minutes.
