No you did not claim that, a previous poster did, but I was interested in your view hence the question.

Agreed he has been poor. I had a lot of time for Harvey Barnes He gave me the one of the greatest days of my life when I came to watch my first game (v Hammers) at SJP last year. I dont think I am overreacting but I accept that there are posters who do that so I was not thrilled with the generalization. The perfect answer to the issue is he gets back in form and starts contributing with goals. I am looking for more from him though when he is not scoring I don't think thats an unreasonable expectation and we have not seen that 3 games in.

I get the inflation aspect. Do you think the 45m Anthony Gordon we bought from Everton would cost us 100m today under the same circumstances?
-
I was referring to whether you were looking at them before or after Trump fired that poor lady. Anyway dude, can we move on from the jobs numbers please. Keen to hear your views on Harvey Barnes performances this season
-
Happy to hear your facts then please?
-
depends on when you were looking at the jobs reports and your Maga inclinations
-
we got Gordon for 45m? and this is the type of upgrade I am talking about. Not Vini Jr.
-
I don't think anyone is overreacting. People are giving an opinion based on how they interpreted his performances recently, and most added facts to their comments.
-
Not every winger that scores a bunch of goals and with decent link up play costs 100 million. Mbeumo did not cost 100m nor did Kudus, and there are lots more out there which is why we have scouts. If the Harvey Barnes upgrade costs 100m then Harbey Barnes should be worth 60-70m. which in my opinion he is not.
-
Been saying that earlier in relation to Willock as well, we outgrowing certain players and I am worried he is falling behind.
-
I am at upgrade him next season. We need someone who can offer the goals and contribute in general play. He offers the former but sadly not the latter. Will be interesting to see him up against CL opposition
-
Yeah, it's not a criticism per se, but we need him to contribute more than he currently is because it doesn't look like we can afford to send him on loan with our current options and the boy has all the fucking skills, it's so annoying I guess.
-
He needs to grab the opportunities when they come along and be decisive in games like he was when he broke into the team. Then he will get more game time and we can rest the other guys.
-
What's happening with Willock, happened with Longstaff...the team grows and our top players grow with the team. The likes of Longstaff cant keep up and they get left behind, which is where I am with Willock. Miley has time but I guess this season is the test. I also worry that Barnes may be falling behind as well. Barring a couple of goals here and there, he contributes nothing else to general play and just does not seem to be keeping up.
-
I have not been entirely convinced by our midfield options for a while now but I can understand why we might go in with what we have. I worry about what Willock could add, and I am not seeing Miley grasp his opportunities by stamping his authority on games. He was awesome when he came on the scene and played with freedom. He just seems stunted now, lacking flair and afraid to make decisive passes. It's annoying because he has the technical skills to excel. Be a bit bolder in your play.

Think Eddie thought let's keep it tight with a defensive formation and quiet the crowd down and later on bring on pacey wingers to run at them. It didn't work at all and set the tone for the rest of the game. we could not get into a rhythm. Too many players were not comfortable and Osula lack of movement and our lack of creativity out of midfield, everything was played in front of Leeds. We never really got behind them. We only started looking better when Hall came on and the left side started flowing a bit until Barnes got involved (He was poor today again, barring the odd goal here and there he does not add anything to general play). Similarly Elanga was off the pace as well. End result we were predictable, poor and lacking in anything threatening in the final third. Summed up by Longstaff getting man of match.
-
Our set penises were great before we got a set penis coach. wtf.
-
Well that was piss poor in so many respects. No creativity, no cutting edge against a half decent promoted side who were there for the taking. The real disappointment for me was that so many players looked bang average when this was there moment to show their class. One thing getting up for a home game against the reigning champions, another pitching up in the rain against a riled up Leeds. Eddie should be a bit worried about this. Barnes, Ramsey, Elanga, Osula, Murphy...all bang average.
-
Welcome Wallie, we cant wait to see you banging them in
-
Pity the cup tied rule no longer applies for CL. Would have brought the cunt on in the last minute of a CL game making him cup tied and then sell him in Jan. Now fuck off to Liverpool.
-
think the point EH was making is that with the window open they could have done something and he was referencing it in response to a question about whether he would be happy when the window closes. He said there there positives and negatives to the window still being open.
-
Yeah, there is no reintegration option any longer. It may become public that we negotiating but deal is probably only done on deadline day as we try and rinse them for every last penny and rightly so.
-
Hang on dude. we ain't done yet. This club has chosen one window to make up for years of lack of ambition, lack of drama, dire targets and rank excuses that typified the Ashley era We getting the full Monty right now.

Honestly this shit only happens to us.
