  1. I'm thinking this. Maybe a keeper on loan.
  2. It would have looked something what Chelsea did since their takeover I'd imagine.
  3. We will sell a player or two and players will reach the end of their contracts freeing up wages. Revenues will increase marginally. The three year rolling reporting window will be 6-9 months later. As much as we want to kick on now this window is a huge risk is we overstretch and the players we get are not good enough. See what happened to Everton. I feel we need a player or two just to reinvigorate the squad but I could see it coming late in January. If we do manage to get a couple results and the mood improves I could also see us doing nothing other than a loan keeper. The will be light at the end of the tunnel in terms of players returning from injury and a reduced fixture list. Unlikely as it is that Howe will be sacked, if things do go in that direction it will leave a transfer pot for the incoming manager.
  4. Sorry yes I was meaning in the league. He was in relation fight.
  5. Was meaning at league position. They were in a relegation fight last year.
  6. Moyes record of good season, bad season, good season etc continues. It’s bazarre. See his Everton record and now it continues with West Ham.
  7. Sticking all these conversations in this thread really limits how much engagement they get. Rtg is far to far the other way regarding threads but for non Sunderland things there is far more discussion. just saying like.
  8. I've been thinking exactly the same. Leaving potential commercial income on the table is weird. I'm really looking forward to the day one of the training complex / ground decision is made. I think until that time what we have seen is our club "just" being run well from an owner that is prepared to speculate to accumulate.
  9. Defensively position wise he’s been poor last two games. But I think “jury is out” is a bad choice of expression. This will be something he will learn and improve on.
  10. Or jump. Twice he didn’t challenge for ball in the air vs Luton. Once led to an attack.
  11. Fair. I’m desperate for creativity
  12. Swallow pride. Find out of he's willing and if so sign him.
  13. I'm not going to judge him on today.
  14. When he's good he's brilliant. But since we first signed when he's bad he just disappears. I don't know whether it's his fault or the team but we need to solve the problem.
  15. I felt it was more desperate than normal at times. So more mistakes I guess. But yes agreed
  16. Luton played the last 10 minutes so much better than we did vs Chelsea.
  17. The question will be who ultimately makes the decisions. When we were doing well it's easy to sit back and let decisions be made. When things get rough who knows.
