I can’t remember the last time we were this bad.

There is so little joy in watching us this season.

I did wonder whether Howe was being so positive so that it does not look like he has an issue with multiple people. If Howe is playing a bit of a game with Mitchell it does not look good if he’s in conflict with two people. He’d look more like the issue not Mitchell.

I got the feeling she was doing that to make up for the Tonali question.

I hope so. Fortunately this is one of the areas where he excels.

I imagine he’s setting out guidelines/rules for how much work players do to minimise injuries.

Exactly. And when he posted them it was is a similar way to the quoted post. Was it real... was it mocking the ITK's... He'll claim whichever turned out closer to the truth. The press this summer have (maybe understandibly) got the hump with the ITK's. Like we all have. For whatever reason they seem to have bitten a bit more recently. Maybe they need to as ITK's are drawing better x engagement stats then they are so they are facing boss pressure.

My hatred of him has subsided since he stopped playing devils advocate for Bruce/Takeover rumours. Honestly I think he's harmless. He's probably somewhere on the spectrum /and/or he likes his wine a bit too much. I get more irritated with Hope now.

He seems to know no more than anyone in here. He's been bitten a couple times with the club (maybe deliberately) giving him stories that were "wide of the mark". Now he's posting the sort of stuff that we're all hoping. Personally this time, unfortunately, I don't think we're going to pull a rabbit out of the hat. As usual I really hope I'm wrong but something does not feel quite right to me.

With Dyer (and other injured players) they always returned with a feeling of dread. Like yeah it's a new signing... but he could well just get injured again. Touch wood an injury does not happen for Tonali but at least for the moment it really does feel like a new player without any negatives. It's even a better player than we signed if you believe the noise. At a minimum he can now speak English. Maybe he's also faster, better shot, and has drank the Howe strategy Kool-aid.

I’ve just watched that and based on that we should appeal. The force was negligible. No doubt. The rule says it’s not a sending off if the force is negligible.
