it would be amusing if 3-4 players went there. Fair market value for transfer fees would not not far behind.
-
It will be interesting if uefa have the bottle to add a wage cap after this. They want one to stop the premierships dominance in the transfer market. if there is another league with no cap players will go there not just at the end of their careers.

I will be more diplomatic then. I believe the trust should be actively working to reduce the types of things that they are currently engaging with the club. They should be encourage the club to provide better direct platforms that would allow the fan base to directly communicate with the club. From a Trust perspective this would not necessarily be in their interests but for the overall supporter base it could be. Where the "Facebook likes" thing can be good or bad is how the topics are raised. - If the platform promotes "I think the club should sell popcorn and scrap burgers". It is bad. You're voting for the solution. - It should push for concerns to be raised like "I have a concern over fan experience due to availability of food choices....". go into depth about the issues, touch on a number of potential solutions . The Facebook likes is promoting the point to discuss it. The outcome I would then be direct discussion with the club, getting more options on board and then potentially reaching out to fans for feed back or trialing something.

Bad actors in the most part would be ok. But can depend on the thing being raised. It takes a question to become "viral" on a rivals board/twitter to be ruined. I do agree for the most part in terms of specific issues raised it would be ok as people would just not care.

I disagree. These are just challenges that can be solved without a middle man. These challenges are solved by multiple platforms with varying degrees of success. Twitter likes, reddit up/down votes, stack overflow reputation. You will never filter all noise, it will never be perfect but you can reduce it to the point to make a platform useful. You can also use other channels to promote an idea. Someone here could promote a question. Here you get the visibility of people. The different clans of supporters clubs could ask their members to up vote. What we have at the moment: - is a trust that has failed a few times to actually voice even their own members opinions (or even ask them) - other groups attempting to get into the game - some people who cannot even have a voice as they cannot afford to join a trust
-
I agree. But how does the trust get a list of people who are not fans of other clubs/bad actors? If there is no payment firewall they can't. The only people who have a list of trusted people who should get a voice is the club itself - the members and season ticket holders (even this excludes some people so maybe also people who have bought tickets in a period of time).
-
Thats the thing. You would not. And if I went to an elected member of the board and asked them to do a survey of the members to see whether they would like to approach the club with this idea I bet they would not. Why not? As it is not self serving. So ultimately with a trust there is a filter of the what the club is approach with due to the trust members own opinions. edit - there is even a filter on what they will ask their members.
-
It would be a platform where anyone can ask questions. People can vote for questions that matter to them. If the question gets enough votes then it will be asked to the club. So a "total free for all" where any fan (whether they pay for a membership to a trust or not) can get a voice to the club if others have the same concern sounds like a very good idea to me. The trust just feels like a tool that was necessary for a club who's ownership was not open to dialog and hand needed to be forced. If the club is open and actively looking for input why do that with a middle man that asks for a fee for that privilege? Why not provide a transparent platform direct to the fans for this?

I’d like to see a candidate who’s who’s pitch is to remove the need for the club to need a trust through expanding their means of communication. The points would be: 1. Setup an on line portal available to members and season ticket holder to raise issues following a similar to - https://petition.parliament.uk. Other members would then vote on the issues and if they reached a threshold they would be discussed in a forum with the club. The person who raised the issue would attend. 2. Disband the trusts as it no longer has value saving fans money.

Thats down to the on field ref who was may not have had a perfect view and was conned by the cheating of Casemiro by screaming and pretending to be injured afterwards. As soon as var said it was not a red they had no ability to overturn the mistake. I blame the player cheating more than the ref in this case. The thing that really boils my piss on this one is the timing of the screaming confirms, in my mind, that it was pre meditated by Casemiro to foul and attempt to injure the player and con the ref. I’m also frustrated that retroactive action no longer appears to be a thing. And that it takes a player to actually get injured and seriously hurt for a bigger deal to be made. If you want to stop a player getting his ankle broken then punish deliberate violent conduct hard whether they succeed or not.
-
There should be retroactive action for this. you have a player that has deliberately fouled a player, no attempt to play the ball, he’s immediately screamed in pain to deceive the ref and his his actions. It had excessive force, and was violent conduct. It could easily have injured a player. The ref I get missing it. Var I cannot understand but maybe there was a time pressure(I’m being kind). But why not do something about it afterwards and cut this bullshit out of the game. https://twitter.com/bluecitybrain/status/1665007804384706563?s=46&t=lkNEu-V5PpvC89SXW8Ms0A

Fair enough and please don't take my posts as abuse, harassment etc. I could not understand something and questioned it. Are you from the north east? Just asking as was wondering what originally attracted you here?
-
Yep and equally I can have an opinion. I'm not abusing him not questioning every post harassing etc . I just raised that chosing to post on a forum when "everyone hates us" when you must already be down about a game is somewhat masochistic. I'll leave it as I'm not bothered. It just amuses me.
-
Fair enough. Ball busting is a thing too and I don't understand that either.
-
I think Rice and Kane would put them as the main challengers but still not quite Man City levels over a season.
-
Do you not questions someones sanity who's only board that he posts on is where "everyone hates us". And choses to post here on a cup final day?
-
Could well be, but I cannot imagine a situation where on a Newcastle cup final day my choice of chatting about a NUFC game is a MUFC board. It just doesn't make any sense to me.
-
Man United fan playing their local rival in a final posting on a NUFC board. ? at so many levels.
-
should have been by a lot more. Var was a big evener and lots of near miss crosses.
-
He's lost his head.
-
Manager asked them to sign him the English lad playing for Borussia Dortmund.
-
City score now and this could get fun.
-
Corporate fans still not all back.
-
VAR wont like this.

He mishits a ball better than me on my best day.
