Start of November: End of November: Played 6 Won 0 From 5 points clear at the top to 5 points behind. After today’s games the points difference from them to 7th could be down from 9 to 3. More of the same in December please.

Feels like the Brighton first half. Can’t believe we are losing that. Early goal for us is everything. -

As long as we can get Wilson on for 2-3 minutes and he scores his inevitable goals against West Ham we’ll win by a couple. -
I’m near 50 and have not experienced as many iterations of the ground as you but 100% agree. This is exactly how I feel.

If this is to be believed the rules were basically written in a way to win Everton's vote. https://x.com/CitizenSuburbia/status/1859995262074368353

If someone said to me "you have a choice, win the fa cup next year or we have a stadium build there of that scale". I'd take the stadium. That would set us up for generations.

One positive of the premier league again putting unlawful rules in could be to completely undermine the current process of the rule decision making process. They have approved unlawful rules and now potentially knowingly voted in more unlawful rules. let’s see what Man City’s next step is.
-
The same way it did the first time. I see it like: 1. the premier league and its lawyers wrote the original rules. The rules included that loan interest would not be included. 2. Man City disagreed and took them to a tribunal 3. the tribunal agreed and said the rules were unlawfaul 4. The premier league now writes rules that say loan interest will be included after a grace period. Their lawyers will argue that this is lawful somehow. 5. Man City will take them to a tribunal again and say loan interest even for a grace period is unlawful 6. logically I would think Man City would win. If something is unlawful then surely it is unlawful for a grace period. By the premier league putting the grace period in it will win votes. Everton are being bought out so their situation will change by the time the grace period is over.
-
I agree You have the premier league deliberately writing the rules with the priority being votes not legality.
-
Because then there will be new rules that the tribunal have not declared unlawful. So they will apply. Man City will have to start another case to have these new rules also declared unlawful. The tribunal have ruled that loans must be included. They have not ruled whether giving a grace period for the loans is unlawful.
-
I agree. Some clubs hopefully will agree and vote against the new rules until after the tribunal. The premier league board do not seem to agree. I guess it's not their money that is being spent.

I hope so. Given time does not seem a huge priority the next step could be we’ve decided new stadium and are going for Leases park. Then they start working with the council. Plans can be drawn up for the actual stadium that will no doubt look fantastic. This gets people minds softened on moving. If Leases park cannot be done they look slightly further. That way the club are not the bad guys the council is. Fans will have fallen in love with the idea and stadium so what’s an extra 10/15 minute walk…
