    Dan Burn

His reaction to Isaks goal was a bit weird.
  2. Ruud looks on good shape.
  3. The incredibly poor refereeing in the first half makes the victory much sweeter. But so many times they would have decided the game.
  4. Looked a good tackle. Not evens foul. But I had my bias glasses on so would need to see again.
  5. Our result helps a little. Pressure eased for a week.
  6. Above villa. it’s a funny old game. They would probably count their season as positive. We would probably say negative but picking up. Yet we’re above them.
  7. If longstaff reacts differently that’s a red
  8. I thought the elbow was a yellow. Seeing it at half time it’s very close to a red. Looks at him. elbow up. Into face. And we don’t even get a free kick. Shambolic.
  9. - Misses elbow should be yellow - gives incorrect corner eventually leads to goal - misses studs down leg should be second yellow - misses player going through willock for penalty. So they should have their goal, they should be a man down and we should have had a penalty.
  10. I don’t either. It would really feel weird to be somewhere completely different. I think I could get used to it eventually if it was still walking distance. This bit I get. It relates to the above. I like having a beer in a pub I did 20-30 years ago. A similar walk is nice. Somewhere just beyond where it is now makes no odds to me.
  11. This is a bit of a daft question and mainly for the people who 100% do not want to move from St James. What is it that constitutes St James to you? I'm not sure on my gramma there so maybe some example. If it was torn down and completely rebuilt is it still St James? I raise this as I went to games when there were terraces at both ends. In my mind, in some ways, I don't really consider that the same ground as it is now. It was so different in looks, atmosphere almost everything. If you'd still consider it St James on a complete rebuild then why not if it moved a few hundred yards into the park? I know St James is the specific place and leases park is another but I don't get why it matters if the ground is on that specific spot. I agree that what's great about it is the city centre location. I think what I struggle to understand is the people who 100% do not want to move anywhere, even to leases park. Not looking for an argument as there is no right and wrong, it's all about what it means to the individual. I'm just trying to understand.
  12. Thanks I thought so! Thought I was going mad.
  13. Did they say they were going to do a two minutes silence after the bugle then never do one?
  14. You don’t get a better cross and header than that.
  15. Yeah, back then the St James park pitch really struggled due to lack of light and he wanted to be playing attractive football. I recon now you could play on our pitch near every day now what with the artificial lights and the hybrid grass.
  16. His blocks were excellent. If this was Botman at least one of these would have gone through his legs or deflected to be an own goal! https://twitter.com/NUFC/status/1851994535661912105
