Two great saves first half. Nightmare of a second half. The 2 goals plus at least 2 other occasions where he punched the ball instead of catching it, I know the punch/catch option is all about percentages, but for me catch the ball. As poor as we were.. with pope we win that game. The question is - is he a good enough second choice keeper?

If we have to move from SJP then the 2 city centre locations were Arena and Castle Leazes (if you want to class Castle Leazes as city centre). I think the arena site would have been fantastic. Alas not to be. Castle Leazes has it's problems, so that might not happen. So if it's not SJP, the ground might be outside the city centre, which I think would be really bad news.

Beardsley and Waddle were a cut above. Davey Mac was very good at what he did, Glenn Roeder was an accomplished CB, Johnny Anderson was a good old fashioned RB. Not saying there aren't other good footballers on the photo but Beardsley and Waddle reached the heights in the game. Just a shame we were a selling club. Gazza came along soon after, we could have built a hell of a team around them. As an aside I think that is a young John Carver on there.

Burn has done fantastically well in his time here, but for me he should be dropped for tino, not just because of yesterday. Doesn't mean he should never start again or can't still be a useful member of the squad. He needs dropping for the team's sake, and maybe for his own sake too.

He got massively exposed today... loyalty from howe is an admirable quality.. but we are surely at the point where enough is enough.. and surely players like trippier, scharr, Wilson (senior pros) must be scratching their heads as to why livra isn't starting instead

FYI apparently Bournemouth have only taken 1200 of their allocation when they come to SJP, so leazes level 7 should have loads available in the resale- according to nufc.com - "Members will be able to purchase resale tickets from Tuesday January 23rd at 10am, when additional places in Leazes L7 should be available".

Gutted. Positives 2 great goals by us, trippier looked like the real trippier, isak looked sharp first half (ran out of steam though), Gordon played well, botman was good, ran an excellent team close. Negatives - result and nature of it, and I must admit at times the midfield looked none existent, the ball straight through the middle of midfield was too easy for them.
