He looks like he can strike a ball well with either foot in that video.

I think Semenyo is an all round better player and is genuinely 2 footed, he is a player that had ability but it was only last season he put it all together. He is quick, good link up play, can pick a pass and is good at beating players in tight spaces. That isn’t to say Mbeumo isn’t a good footballer but I can see him being limited against teams who sit deep and don’t give up the type of space he will find on the counter for Brentford. There probably isn’t much in terms of goals between them if you take out Mbeumo’s penalties.

I would take Semenyo over Mbuemo.

This is the sort of things desperate clubs do.

Whilst I don’t disagree with you, that doesn’t make what I said any less true.

PSR is that complicated that we can be in a position where we had to sell Minteh and Anderson to plug the financial hole, then when we move in to a new PSR window it opens up our spending ability again.

You have to go back as far as September for Howe to play Barnes down the left and Gordon down the right, with Almiron or Murphy being benched. They played this way twice towards the end of the season but both Almiron and Murphy were out injured, then once one of them had returned Barnes was back on the bench. A quality right winger should be a must for us this window to kick on.

The minimum for me is a CB and RW. We have a number of long term injuries at CB at the moment and we also have Schar, Burn, Lascelles and Krafth in the final year of their contracts, so it makes sense to go big on a long term replacement in that position. RW is different in that we have 2 players there on long term contracts. However, it has been the weak link position in our starting eleven for some time now so if we want to kick on then we need to be looking at adding quality there. On top of that you have the likes of Wilson, Trippier and Longstaff who are all in the final year of their contact so could be moved on, if they are then I would expect them to be replaced.

It looked to me like Hall and Miley were sat deeper than Joelinton. Jamal Lewis had a good game too and when he would overlap Barnes you would see Hall drop almost in to the left back position to cover.

No bad footballers actually exist and the only thing stopping them reaching Ballon d’Or level is being stuck in a rotten situation with the wrong manager. Fascinating. That is why I am in favour of every player signing we are linked to. Wibble.

He was in their academy as a kid.

Madueke fits the profile of player we go for, he isn’t the top RW people want just yet but he has the ceiling to get there. He will cost similar to what we paid for Gordon I would have thought, maybe more.

Bournemouth have bought really well over the last couple of years but surely they are at the point where they have to sell to balance the books.

Was he on the video joining in with the racist banter with the other Argentinians recently? I genuinely do not know by the way.

Diaz is hardly going flat out in that video to be fair.

I was looking at Twitter last night and some Chelsea fans were saying that Chalobah’s form in the run in was one of the reasons they came 6th. He is a solid player without being spectacular, he can also cover right back if Trippier is moved on.

Price has come down a bit if Romano is correct. £65 million has turned in to a fraction over £50 million with add ons included in that figure.

All links go back to a caught offside article.

When a club wants to change the set up behind the scenes it is likely to upset the incumbent manager, especially if it isn’t a way they want to work. The difficulty for the club is how they manage the situation, they have a popular manager in place when they want a first team coach.
-
Possibly he can still get a move to Saudi but he has little value anyway in terms of transfer fee, so it might be one we have to suck it up on.
-
Absolutely. He’s an intelligent guy and would know that his comments would be picked up on.
-
He can play down the left but is seen as a left footed right winger. Presume we have enquired if there is any truth in it, he could be perfect for what we want due to him being a high IQ wide player with a high ceiling.

Bobb would be a great signing, I mentioned him as a possibility a few weeks back.
