“Ale, I’ve pierced me foot on a spiiike”
-
From Forest fans “Well Newcastle fans don't want him, Saying he is bang average, one dimensional, One fan has gone as far as saying they will jump off a cliff if they sign Elanga. Who do they think they are seriously. Elanga would be a massive improvement on Purple Patch Murphy.” ”They obviously haven't seen the impact his set pieces have had this season, anyway his one dimension is better than the 4 dimensions of Anthony Gordon when 3 of them involve him looking to artificially win free kicks or penalties and the other one is looking exactly like my mates mam did in the 1980s.” “Also Jacob Murphy has had success this season finding the net 8 times in the EPL, but 4 of those were against Leicester, 1 against Ipswich, 1 against Palace before they decided to play football well, 1 against us and 1 in a defeat to Fulham so his purple patch is not even that good really.” “Hope they start bidding soon as last time we ended up getting £20m for a poor keeper and Anderson off of them, I'd take maybe Livramento or Hall for £30m this time.” “For context they want 80m for 5 goals/6 assists (and older) older Gordon... Bidding starts there.”

Elanga is a decent player already and Eddie improves everyone he coaches. Having said that though I don’t see this one happening.

Before the season even ended Eddie said we can’t afford established names because of the wages involved. We’d have been well aware long ago that Mbuemo was a no go. There’s no way it’s just come out of the blue for the club. He said we need the ones a rung below the established players who we can then develop.

No thanks -
Damn that might be it. Really does look like a “Laters Eddie la, I’m off to maccies” message.

Yah they are the absolute worst and no idea if it’s true, but just the way it’s written was funny

Sorry but the way this is phrased made me laugh

Wouldn’t surprise if White is let go. His contract is up, he’s 23 next season. He also might just want to get a kick start on his career. He’s played nearly 100 games at EFL level though. Idk like what’s the point of getting your youth this experience and then not having a pathway for them into your first team. Munda has always looked decent to me, just keeps things ticking over, breaks up play well. Think he has been on the bench for first team before. Matheos Ferreira is another decent winger but still v young.
-
Alabi is 15, Mills has just turned 16. They have a long way to go before being near the first team. You’d be looking at the ones who’ve made the bench like Neave and Shahar, possibly Murphy after his Bolton loan (not sure how he did there). We have decent players at youth level but no standouts. Being at the level of City is where we should aspire to. It’s the only way we’re going to be able to compete with them in the future. Develop our own and sell them for £20m every couple of seasons.

Arsenal heads on Mars when they see this. Iz a dizgrayse

I always find usage of terms like “axe” re football stories incredibly weird. I saw one once and it said something like “Howe brutally axes Newcastle ace”. It sounds like he’s murdered someone.

This forms the whole basis of “Catts for me like”.

Yeah. No wonder they’re this broken

7th is literally their pinnacle. They don’t even know what a “Champions League” is. They’ll hype themselves up all summer, get completely carried away, get pasted 4-0 by Bournemouth or something on their first day. Complain that they should be beating “little teams”. They’ll then keep suffering heavy defeat after heavy defeat. It’ll dawn on them that their glorious return has been more akin to a kick in the balls. Then they’ll start bewing the players and hounding the manager out. Then they’ll get relegated.
