Save us lot some copium for Sunday 🙏

Fernandes now coming out with the same sentiments as Amorim. If the club don’t want him he’ll leave. They’re both desperate to get out of there.
-
Eddie said it’s more likely that we don’t see him before end of season than we do

European champions - “it’s just who we are mate”

Amorim is a calamity. He’s massively out of his depth and will only cause more damage the longer he stays. He’s a complete stubborn headed excuse merchant who after a full season still hasn’t computed that most pl teams are better than the likes of Famalicao and Arouca. I don’t even know why their fans are sticking by him. He’s blatantly begging to be sacked judging by his quotes. He is quite a distance worse than ten Hag. Clearly can’t motivate players, even for a final for crying out loud. If Eddie had interviewed for us and said “I will only play one way and you need to give me a billion quid for the players I want” he’d have been told to do one. Top managers adapt and overcome. They improve players, they get an individuals who aren’t the best outperforming their abilities. They find ways to limit the impact of a players’ weaknesses and maximise their strengths. They don’t just say “you don’t fit my style” and sack whole seasons off because of it. He’s come in and kind of told them “we’re the worst MUFC in history”. It’s ok to do that , to give some harsh truths, a reality check for the club and fans as long as you back it up with results. As long as you’re the solution. The fact he’s now been worse than his predecessor leaves those words demoralising the place and makes him look like the problem. Doesn’t even matter if he stays or goes though. The culture there is one where players are terrified to perform in front of their own fans. The super magnified scrutiny from Neville et al which seems to be on a constant stream must be so suffocating. They still haven’t moved past the “spending loads of money = success” mindset. When you sign for Man Utd you’re expected to be the finished product. You cost £85m so you need to perform with no excuses. You walk into Carrington and see the big “Manchester United” sign and think “I’ve made it”. You meet your teammates and they seem nice enough. Then you get on the training pitch and the intensity seems a little low but you don’t say anything. You get into your first match. Teammates aren’t communicating with each other, they’re not tight to their men, you’re constantly chasing the ball, players aren’t tracking their men. But they don’t say anything and so you don’t say anything. No one gives a fuck. Eventually you just accept this is how it is. You go in, do your contracted work and pick up your astronomical pay check. You do it because it’s the easy way. The whole club is like this. tldr = Man U shite, Amorim shite

He’s above Shearer in my all time fave players now like. Shearer was a cold goal scoring robot. Bruno wears his heart on his sleeve, won us a trophy and never shuts up about how much he loves the club and he’s from thousands of miles away.

Bryan Ruiz?!? Fire up the chopper -
Alex Crook from Talksport says we’re due to hold talks with Delap this week

They already did that one on pod on the Tyne. They thought it was the funniest thing ever and called him sergeant waughles or something. Caulkin then said something grumpy and the other one said “lovely stuff”. It was ball achingly funny
-
Plus 50mil? Deal.
-
Least this summer at least hopefully we won’t have Waugh constantly repeating “FFP is an issue”.
-
Oh no no you need the eye test mate. Stats are bollocks. You’ll be getting a world beater. Shall we say £50m?
-
Harsh on Joao Virginia getting released twice

I can usually put the games to the back of mind basically until game day then I’m like “oh we’re playing today, class” but not this one, can’t stop thinking about it. Next 5-6 days are gonna’ be torture. The thought of mackems winning play offs and us missing out on CL doesn’t bear thinking about. -
I did. Not sure about Willock. I’ll give him one more season.
-
How come we’re stuck with him?

GK’s - Vlachodimos will go. We all know why. Shouldn’t even be at the club in the first place through no doing of his own. Pope will remain no1. Trafford and Garcia linked but we will go for another keeper for sure. Dubravka will also prob go in this case. DF’s - Get a new cb. Preferably one with pace. All other cb’s will stay. No idea if Trippier stays or goes. Imo he should stay. MF - We would be a lot better off if we got a new cm. A Barella type for me. It’s how far the budget can stretch that determines this. Longstaff has to go, prob get about £10m for him. FWD’s - We cannot go into next season without signing a striker. Wilson has to go. Eddie clearly doesn’t believe Osula is ready yet. Need a new RW. Mbuemo is favourite but imo it won’t be him. Out - Wilson, Kelly, Longstaff, Vlachodimos, Targett.

Pope Krafth Botman Burn Livramento Bruno Tonali Miley Murphy Isak (hopefully) Barnes 2-0 Tonali and Murphy -
Should be 4-0 up. Near the end there where Bruno had no one to pass to. That’s where we miss Isak.
