  1. Probably right, although still a tad early to be so definitive - I think 6 or 7 and European football would be an undoubted successful season given the circumstances (Edit to add I believe 7 is good for Conf league this season?)

    Lewis Hall

Thought Hall was one of the better players in our side td
  3. In hindsight, Tino should have slotted in for Almiron. Ritchie looked shockingly out of his depth. With that said, wish all the whinging would stop. End of the day, we're going into the break with Champions League football in our sights, and an ownership and management itching to bring in fresh blood in January... What more could people want?
  4. Really not that big a deal, Liverpool just drew Luton for reference, and they aren't missing half their first team. It will be crucial to us to maneuver intelligently in the January window, whether that's through loans or outright transfers. I trust the brain trust to keep us motoring nonetheless... As others have said, lads need to sleep this one off, and enjoy the rest and lick our wounds for the Christmas push. We'll be fine.
  5. Surely Callum can't be playing for Gareth having not played today?
  6. Battered or not, the result would be the same: zero points. I would rather have zero points against a world class side than zero points against a side that will be playing in the Championship next season
  7. Thought Longstaff was the worst player on the pitch by a good margin
  8. Eh disagree on this. No points to a relegation side is points dropped. If it were City or Liverpool at least we could say it was an uphill battle anyway
  9. Ritchie came on for Almiron when Eddie knew he would have to sub Tino on
  10. Ritchie on over Hall is just silly man, can't convince me otherwise
  11. You'd think it has to be this? Tino was the best player on a CL pitch just a few days ago. Seems mad not to start him bar some sort of issue
  12. Eddie's largely elected not to rotate for two months... afraid this was all pretty foreseeable
  13. Would love to see Burnley nick one
  14. Glad Wolves will get something if they hang on - decisively the better side
  15. Wolves looked like Real Madrid against us and they've been so dreadful today in the final third... You do get the sense that luck is just militating in Spurs favor this season, injuries and all

    Lewis Hall

Thought he played well given the circumstances. I wish Eddie would have boosted his ego a bit more in the post game conference. Said he was "ok," which was a bit strange from him, as he is almost always very positive on player performances. Kept perhaps the fastest winger in the world relatively uninvolved on a yellow he didn't deserve, no glaring errors. Excited for the lad for the coming fixtures.
  17. Tbf it's all house money at this point with this groups first UCL run. Either sneak our way into a Europa spot, or we get some extra rest on the back end of the season to shore up our PL standing. No worries!
  18. Agreed. I think we've played well considering the circumstances. But Dortmund have been the clear better side both games.
