Based off nothing but Eliesse Ben Seghir could be the Pedro equivalent. He is young and versatile and would add creativity to the team. He has played centrally and up top on occasion. Which means he could play 10 in a 4-2-3-1 or even as a two with Elanga or Gordon if Isak needs resting or even as a 3 up top with fluidity to cause damage all over. I am actually struggling to find players who could be our "Pedro".

I like Fernandes too as an option. The other player who maybe worth a shout is Uche who is even more versatile and has £21 million release clause.

Me too. Saw earlier today that he had a price of €45 million which seems cheap for the potential there but also anxious of injury record.

Watching PSG earlier i think if we buy Xavi Simons we could play 3 up top with a false 9 which rotate which will help mitigate Isaks injury. Or the other option is to get a RW who can play CF.

That's in the ballpark of some of our other targets eg Diomande. I was keen on him before his injuries but he came back and aggravated the injury again and also had a bit of a drop in form too.

Pedro did play 20% or so less minutes than Cunha so stats are a bit deceiving in that way. Cunha did score worldies and looks better than Pedro last season imo Cunha is at his peak and JP is only developing. Also due to being younger his wage expectation will be less. I hope there is truth in our desire in getting JP this window. The few scout videos I have seem especially with the Ginger lad posted earlier looks like he will fit like a glove if we are trying to break teams down. I think he will play as AM against some teams or as a second striker against others. Gives us a totally different dimension.

Cunha has looked X factor as there was not much quality around him at Wolves whilst Pedro has had Mitoma playing in the side so takes limelight off him. Pedro's stats seem as good as Cunha too in terms of G/A. Pedro seems less hot headed than Cunha too. So less likely to be suspended. Also a few years under Howe he will be even better than Cunha in my opinion.

I like the tactical insight current players give on comms. McAtee isn't doing himself favours given he is in the shop window.
