I think all the players we have been linked with that have release causes we will be blown out the water in terms of wages. It will need the player to want to play for us and accept less wages. I am a big Huijsen fan but don't think he will come here due to wages. There are plenty of young defenders in Portugal I like but they may cost £50 million plus and that's a risk. I have faith in Mitchell to unearth some players from Europe or South America who will be a fraction of this cost.

All the teams promoted will stink out PL unless they can spend £75 million on improving squads. The gap is massive between the 2 leagues atm as seen by the teams going up last season.

But with all these teams where is his path to the first team. Real for example aren't playing Guler atm. PSG have players like Kang in who hardly get a sniff to. Our appeal is potentially regular football at hopefully a champions league club
