Arsenal come to SJP next week, a win today and their confidence will be much higher so come on Pool
-
positives we didn't get a drubbing as I feared we might at the start a narrow defeat doesn't feel nearly as bad (for me at least) good goal from open play we didn't crumble after their goals and on another day might have got something, at one of the most difficult away grounds tbf we get to have another go at these on Wednesday, and we're at home other results good ( imagine the meltdowns on MU/Spurs forums) negatives another defeat poor away form continues some poor performances and sloppy play all over fucking Chelsea win again very little on the bench to make a difference Gordon injured
-
the most underwhelming big signing since takeover imo clearly a very talented player there but needs to start showing it more
-
take solace in MU (still below us) and Spuds (only a point ahead) both losing decent results yesterday too just goes to show how tough of PL is these days, very few 'easy' fixtures unless you're City/Pool/Arsenal unfortunately for us makes it so much harder to progress to becoming European regulars
-
couldn't be Palmer out injured had to be our talisman of all players so sick of injuries
-
cursed of all the fucking weeks to get injured
-
need Eddie to out-tactic them 3-5-2 anyone? -------------Pope ------Krafth Schar Burn----- Tino Tonali Bruno Joelinton Hall -‐---‐-----Isak Gordon some good options/cover on the bench Willock, Barnes, Murphy, Almiron, Miley, Kelly, Osula + a few goalkeepers
-
looking at the Conference table is really annoying Fiorentina and Betis about the only teams of note really think we'd have gone on to win this one and if Chelsea don't win it that'll be an abject failure on their part
-
frustrating game from wor Maxi looks dangerous though MU back to being their old jammy selves
-
g'wan Maxi!
-
same thanks very much City
-
Mudryk and Felix finding their form ahead of our double header, of course!
-
also probably the team that will rock up at SJP next week ugh
-
don't think any of Chelsea's starting 11 will start at the weekend their B team probably good enough to win the Conference I hope their haphazard spending strategy ruins them but at the same time, well played
-
if only we could have a nice easy home game against a team like Palace...
-
Anderson just needs his first goal to kick on
-
20 PL goals for Wood since he left us Forest legend
-
Liverpool look like seeing this game out comfortably without being all that great Chelsea have loads of talent but are fragile, hope we fucking storm the Bridge and steamroller them at SJP
-
expect Sanchez to end up being twice motm in our double header against them next week, will probably save about 3 penos
-
funny how Chelsea's midfield duo today Caicedo and Lavia could've easily been Liverpool's but for Chelsea's billions also how have Chelsea gone from having one of the biggest shirt sponsorship deals in the world to nothing in two seasons now? and how can they afford to continue not having one?
-
we should've won here in Howe's first season with a patched up side robbed by Havertz and the ref etc we should've won he in the cup last season but for the ref again (they should've had 2 red cards and did some serious damage with Gordon and Krafth going off injured) before Trippier error in the 95th minute or something then in the league I think we were favourites and many expecting us to win as they were utter shite, but it's never that straightforward it's always been a bogey ground in my lifetime, they'll be expecting to win, I'd be happy with a point

only managed to see 3 min highlights but seems like our lads dominated and could've won comfortably first home defeat in something like 10 months and first home game in like 23 without scoring? not fucking bad for all the doom and gloom here also Brighton can be a very good and tricky side, I was a little surprised how confident most seemed in the prematch thread football is so ruthless though, the lads outplay their opponent in the last two games and more often than not come away with 6 points this time Gordon and Isak fluff their lines and it's mostly on Howe, which is a shame as I really don't think we'd get anyone else who's a better fit for us atm and would give more to the club
-
think he was hauled off shortly after the one that led to DCL chance probably planned but possibly Howe was being ruthless there and had had enough
-
a bit underwhelmed from what I've seen from him so far - struggles to get involved as much as Bruno and Joe, not sure he'd get into our rival top 6 sides? maybe lacks some confidence and still adjusting to pace English football needs to cut out the sloppy passes especially in dangerous areas, could've easily lost the game yesterday because of that leading to their one chance he does have a lot of qualities though and I still have high hopes for him here
