  1. would be quite a power play to get Sesko and keep Isak can see it happening if Yasir is annoyed or wants to stand up to Liverpool trying to fleck their financial muscle
  2. is there a scenario where we end up with Sesko and Isak? since just over a week ago all the talk was that we wanted Ekitike to play with Isak maybe this is the plan b for Ekitike, and Wissa plan c I'm still hopeful!
  3. if it's true that Newcastle agreed a deal with Burnley and then City just decide to match that, there's fuck all we can do in that situation I assume had we gone higher they'd also go higher definitely no ceilings for City and Liverpool
  4. ah think it's probably a massive overreaction to this news he is quite injury prone so could well carrying an injury and needs more rest time with all the speculation it was probably thought that on balance he'd be better off not travelling to rest up his agent probably is driving a lot of this speculation to bd fair they wouldn't be doing a good job if they weren't trying to get a significantly better deal for a player who's become the most sought after striker in world football in any case, Yasir will have final say if he stays or goes, and there's no way he'd be allowed to go without a decent replacement lined up

    Yoane Wissa

scored a wordlie against us on final day previous season fwiw

    João Pedro

glad I haven't wasted my time watching his YouTube highlights
  7. a few people have mentioned he's two-footed which I think is a very useful and quite rare attribute (remember how infuriating Miggy would be always cutting in) I know YouTube can be deceiving but some of his finishing with both feet is really impressive he could probably also fill in the the left if needed
  8. fully capped seasoned PL footballers shouldn't be wasting their energy in this under 21 tournament they need a summer break ffs
  9. if true there's probably a good deal to be done given we've done so much business with Forest before he's a good PL player with potential to improve a lot imo

    João Pedro

Would be great backup/rotation option for Isak as well as someone who could play with him in different roles Bring. Him. Home.
  11. it means so little to Chelsea on every level feels like the financial dominance of English football is destroying these European competitions
  12. haven't seen much of Dibling but sounds v exciting https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cn4yen2xgrxo
  13. Mbeumo would seem to make so much sense now we've qualified for CL it also seems possible would be an incredible signing that should take us up a level

    aston villa

depends also on the teams you're up against Spurs began the season as favourites for the Europa no way they were favourites for the LC, due to the quality of opposition our road to victory was far more difficult and impressive makes it a lot sweeter for me even if the Europa is considered more prestigious
  15. started every league game for us this season if I'm not mistaken and think he also played in every cup game very impressive season overall from him as club captain heard Tim Vickery talking about hiw disappointing he's been for Brazil, which can probably put down to the crazy system they were playing hopefully Ancelotti works his magic
  16. that late point at Brighton looking priceless now ditto Forest dropping points against Leciester
  17. most players nowadays I'm pretty sure will choose whichever PL club offers the best payday, it's that simple sadly MU can still blow most clubs out of the water on that front
  18. Fulham can't get 8th now, probably doesn't make a difference but would be nice if they take points off City so we could finish ahead of them
  19. Brighton losing would be handy as keeps Bournemouth and Fulham well in the race for 8th and both play City
  20. if Spurs win wait for Ange's 'told you so, mate' gloating at least Amorim would probably admit their season was still embarrassing if either muster up a performance tonight and do us a favour (not bloody likely) then maybe I could cheer for one of them
  21. don't want want to see that obnoxious, arrogant prick of a manager Ange win a trophy, he'd be unbearably smug and I hate the thought of MU winning yet another trophy in one of the worst seasons in their history there is no good outcome here
  22. very disappointing for him and a blow ahead of Arsenal game for sure some embarrassing reactions here like 'waste of space' and 'time to sell', fucking hell fhe's just back from an ACL injury and still very young for a CB
  23. seems to me like Arsenal are always exaggerating their injury situation at one point this season when they had around 5 players missing they were blaming injury crisis for their form while other teams had much worse
  24. maybe if MU tried to finish a few places higher up in the league they wouldn't have to make so many 'necessary' cuts each league place is worth something like 3m? yet looks like they've completely given up now and happy to finish 17th
  25. finishing second with a trophy to celebrate this season would be a monumental achievement the only slight downside to that is people's expectations - it's unlikely we repeat that next season and then you get people questioning Howe's future at the club and all the usual shite I'm not expecting a title challenge next season and just worry Howe might become a victim of his own success balancing European football with domestic will be difficult
