Got to be more to it than just a few questionable texts between colleagues, as others have said that happens all the time. My guess is he’s sent pictures without her consent and the BBC have caught wind and with their reputation and the ongoing Huw Edwards scandal, have gone into damage control mode and binned him to avoid the bad press.

Is Guehi the signing to us that Kompany was to City in 08? Or is that somewhat a stretch? I do think he could be transformative for us and with him only being 24, got plenty of his peak years ahead of him.

As much as it's in our interests to get rid (albeit permanently!) I hate to see him going to the scouse mackems. He deserves better than that.

Totally agree. Having this saga drag out through the media is not in our culture at all. Just look at the way the Isak, Bruno and Botman deals were done.

Can see Southampton and Leicester going straight back down, but Ipswich pressing on and doing a solid job. They've got the best manager of the 3 promoted clubs as well.
