Christ the league is unbelievably shit this year.

If I was the board I’d be inclined to stick with him until the end of the season, then if we fail to get Europe, call it and bring in someone else. Downside, the big names will probably want to go elsewhere. Fine. But the positive from that is the new manager coming in will be able to lead a rebuild with players who fit his new system. Performances have been undoubtedly poor and it does feel very stale, but being trigger happy at this point in the season doesn’t favour anyone.

Agree. And also would be a realistic option, given his share price has dropped a bit since being given the boot by BVB.

If Howe does get the boot at the end of the season (I'm not saying he will/should), I'd like to see Edin Terzic brought in if that's realistic. Felt he was done dirty at Dortmund despite getting them to a CL final. Young manager with solid foundations and a good knowledge of the game, that was blindingly obvious in our two matches against them last season where we were tactically outclassed both home and away. Ideally Howe get's his shit together and figures out a way to turn it around.

Looks a different player when he’s with Italy, I know it’s different being his countrymen, but he’s not given enough time to even create some positive momentum across a series of matches by Howe. He’s good enough to build your midfield around.

Eddie needs to find a way to get the best out of him, otherwise he’s going to get more frustrated and we’ll lose a cracking player next summer. Can’t be doing his confidence any good knowing he’s benched by Sean Longstaff.

Times like this I wish the Super League came off and those at the top fucked off for good, whilst leaving the rest of us to it. It's been said before, but the game itself has been circling the drain for years and has fallen victim (like most of society) to profits uber alice. I'm normally an optimist but struggle when it comes to football. Fuck the other 16 for playing their role in continuing the status quo, beggars belief!
