Ultimately, if we have to sell Minteh in order to not have to cash in on our big names, then I'm all for it. Makes complete sense. He could quite easily be a world beater, or as others have said, another Rolando Aarons. One thing we are certain on, is that Bruno/Isak etc have to be in this team next year for us to kick on, so I'm not surprised the club are offloading Minteh for the PSR benefits.

Hard to tell, he has been linked with a host of PL clubs, but for the quoted £15-£16m for DCL, there has to be better options somewhere. There is probably a larger plan in place with Minteh going re: PSR, but a strange development nonetheless.

Wilson’s time has naturally come to an end, whether you think it’s justified or not. Fact is, he’s unreliable, ageing rapidly and if the rumours are true, isn’t happy playing second fiddle. It works for both parties for us to ship him off, he gets his golden handshake in Saudi, and we get to bring someone new in, who can play more often than they don’t. Nothing else to it really.
